After many years visited this outstanding fish restaurant in a new winter pavillion . Superbly prepared main course. Dessert list a bit thin. Wine list needs to be expanded. Friendly staff. I don't know how often they do it, but it was really delicious, with several kinds of meat, loads of sauces, and some vegetarian things too (I'm not a vegetarian, so I didn't really try any of them). Salads and desserts as well. The wines by the glass were decent. It was just under ⬠30 per person, not including the drinks.

I would say this is a very "typical" Bavarian restaurant. We had a great meal - basic, fresh, local food. Good value for money. The service was very good. We went quite early and were lucky to get a table - it would probably be a good idea to make a reservation as it did get pretty busy. We noticed that there were a lot of locals at the restaurant which is always a good sign. It is slightly off the beaten track, but no trouble to get to - just follow the signs from the main road. I can highly recommend it for a no frills, authentic meal.

Visit us in Prien at the shores of lake Chiemsee. The Restaurant is located on the property of the Chiemsee Yacht Club. Enjoy the view from the marina and experience alpine cuisine and a fine wine selection.

Overall the hotel and restaurant are excellent. The location is special and the personnel are very warm. The idea of a buffet for the evening meal was a bit of a put-off, but the food served was excellent and a great selection. The rooms are above average and the views from the balconies are amazing.

This is a simple guesthouse/restaurant in a green valley, about 1000 metres from the centre of Prien. It is also close to cycle tracks and a lovely stream.We have spent a couple of evenings there, with a nice weiss beer and some straightforward food(schnitzel,goulasch etc etc), while our two children play happily in the sandpits.High;y recommended for a nice, family evening in the late afternoon sunshine.

Modern bavarian style restaurant. Good choice of food, good quality. Friendly personnel. Parking a bit difficult in Prien, although better at night.This is actually a hotel (Bayrischer Hof). Also very recommendable is the bar across the corridor, named "Fletz".

We ate here as a large group and were not disappointed - there is an excellent selection of different food and even though it is a fish restaurant, there are meat and non-meat options and some Bavarian specialities. Portions are of a good size and there is an extensive wine menu. Ask to see the schnapps collection - the bottles are enormous!

On the advise from our hotel we visited this establishment and found it to be very good. We all ordered something different so we could taste each other's meal and none of us were disappointed! The beer was great and the service was good. No one spoke English when we were there but we got by just fine. I would definitely go again!
