Na een dag winkelen in Kleve en boodschappen doen in Rees is het een echt thuis komen in dit Restaurant .Vriendelijke mensen, zijn altijd voor een praatje met de gasten .Wij komen er best wel vaak en daardoor is het bijna familie geworden

Had a very nice meal here. The restaurant feels spacious easy-going . It's part of the Rilano hotel but not very stiff hotel resto feel. One thing to improve though, dim the lights above the dining tables, its way too bright or change the bulbs would make it more cosy there.Overall very good service and food. We had schnitzel with potatoes and pork cutlets with fresh 'pfifferling' sauce, very good! Would eat here again.

Mein Mann und ich hatten schon von diesem netten Fleck Erde gehört.Gott sei Dank gibt es Navigationsgeräte, so das wir das Cafe gut gefunden haben.Es wird aber hauptsächlich von Fahradfahren aufgesucht, die am Niederrhein ihrem liebsten Hobby fröhnen.Das Cafe befindet sich hinter dem Haus in einem groÃzügigen Garten, der Mithilfe von Buchsrabatten in mehrere Teile gegliedert ist. Dort sucht man sich sein Plätzchen inmitten der Natur. Es werden zwei bis drei Sorten Kuchen angeboten.Selbstverständlich alle hausgemacht, sowie eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Getränke.Sehr lecker ist die Rhabarberschorle.Ein hübsches Plätzchen zum verweilen und Kaffee trinken.

Very good and cheap restaurant, i loved the curryketchup and the hollandaise sauce. The food was very tasty and forceful, fresh meat with good cooking. Good attention by the waiters.

The German way is to have available in every village or town several cafés, restaurants and bakeries (Konditorei), where you can enjoy coffee, tea or a cold drink, optionally with a roll, sandwich or a delicious piece of German pastry, the core business of a "Konditorei". And plenty of room to sit down in the outdoor area when the weather is clement, to watch street life. Also a characteristic of the German way is the polite and efficient service of the waitress. Stadt Café Wanders in the charming city of Kleve is exactly such an establishment I tried to define in this review. We sat down in the outdoor seating area and ordered latte macchiato with a delicious piece of Black Forest cake, Service of the waitress was indeed polite and efficient. Prices are a bit elevated, but still value for money.

Walking through the beautiful Forstgarten and the hills opposite this garden it was time to take a break and what is better than to drink a coffee or tea accompanied with a "Black Forest" pie in this Altes Landhaus. There were quite some people, a cosy atmosphere but a little bit dark. The menu we got shows a number of simple dishes. For us coffee, tea and Black Forest pie was the choice of this day. The tea and coffee scored 4/5, the Pie 2/5, to creamy and not enough cherries and to little liqueur taste. Never the less a nice short rest during this very nice autumn day.

This is a typical, yet not so typical german âstubeâ strategically located at the crossing of the Griethauser alrhein and the spoykanal. The name of the place comes from a citizen from the area who saved her mother with a flood of the river Rhine. She dies but managed to save her mother and a monument is close to the restaurant. We visited the place on a Sunday afternoon for a coffee which was well made. They offer self made cakes, which looked terrific. They have an extensive wine list and the daily menu was written on a big blackboard. Service was good and very friendly. Nice place, will visit again.

Ich war auf Empfehlung zum ersten mal hier und angenehm überrascht. Kleine aber sehr feine Speisekarte. Wir hatten TX 65 Krabben als Vorspeise (TX für Texel) sowie Steak Tatar. Danach gab es Reh, Steak und Schwarzwurzeln, die noch nie auf einer Speisekarte gesehen habe. Alle Gerichte sehr liebevoll angerichtet und von sehr guter Qualität.Zum Dessert gratinierte Orangen, sowie Creme Brulee.Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had really good schnitzels with bratkartofeln which were done to perfection and piece of meat was so big that it took entire plate. Small salad platter was actually huge too. My small glass of German wine was very smooth (2.75 Euro...). The ambience was lovely and traditional German.Service was prompt and pleasant- we speak German, which may be helping.We could not believe when 3 main dishes with sides and incl alkohol set us for less than 50 Euros! This is fantastic value for so much good food.Sehr erfolgleich! Danke!
