This fantastic pre-art deco picture palace was first opened in 1912. For decades it was the place to see the latest Hollywood and British blockbusters. It closed in the 1980’s after a short spell as a bingo hall. Now – thanks to a £2.1 million restoration project – the Hippodrome is open again, lovingly restored to its 1926 heyday. With a great program of blockbusters, art house and classic favorites, there’s bound to be something for everyone.

What does the Hippodrome offer? It's Scotland's only surviving purpose-build cinema and it's been beautifully restored. It offers a wonderful range of films: all the current popular ones that you'd expect a good cinema to show plus Saturday morning screenings for kids, Monday morning screenings with a cuppa, live-streamed National Theatre plays, Singalonga musicals, and even a Silent Film festival. It has such a great atmosphere. The staff are tremendous. You can go with a gang of friends for Singalonga Sound of Music or just trundle down there by yourself - it will always feel comfortable. We're so lucky to have it nearby!

We called up and booked the secret bunker on the same day and the owner was really accomodating despite it being pretty last minute. The room itself was great fun, all clues were all in one room, unlike others I have visited which have spread over a couple of rooms, however, I found this added to the enjoyment rather than detract from it as there was plenty to do and investigate so everyone could get involved. The other members of my team agreed saying they felt much more involved with this game than ones historically. It was the right balance of fun and challenge. We managed to escape though did require a little nugde in the right direction a couple of times. Cannot fault it in any way and will definitely be back to do the other room and joyously there is a further room in development. Loved being able to dress up at the end. Would recommend!

High Recommend ***** We had a great time today here (was our first time), sooo many games to choose from and had two happy 12 year old boys that got to play so many different games including the VR, if only I’d got a picture of there face when I told them Paul had one at the shop! Paul is great with the kids and helps them with any questions about games or how to use any equipment/ controllers/ games???? Great fun, great social gaming place and great for fussy gaming tech kinda kids/teens ???? Hopefully they can open one in Dunfermline ????

I had discovered Cloybank through a friend. My son has been banging on at me for ages to take him fishing. So, for his 10th birthday, I called Cloybank for advice on a birthday day of activities. The owner (John) could not have been more helpful. He arranged the day for my son and I. We started out at the Airgun Range. Safety first instructions and then meticulous attention to detail in the guidance given by Rangemaster Colin and his "better-shot-than-him" son. After slaughtering metal animals for an hour, we had some fab soup (it was a cold day - so definitely the soup) and then John himself instructed this big kid and his son on the art of fly-fishing. John was patient (he had to be - with my inept attempts at casting!) and informative. He helped my son catch his first fish ( a beautiful Blue Trout - 3lb) and I caught and then released a couple of Rainbow trout (I'm pretty sure one was 25lb - honest!). After demonstrating gutting the fish, we went onto the Golf Range with 5G mats. After slicing a few over the net (must've been the wind!) we finished off with putting. We had 5 hours of activities - friendly, patient and expert instruction with a focus on safety and enjoyment. Oh, and it was amazing value for money. "Best day of my life" was my son's verdict. As a proud Dad, what more can you ask for? We will be back (I've got a rematch with that monster fish!). (PS My son has shown off his fish to anyone who ventures into the house!) (PPS the trout was delicious).

Quality Fishing- We have three lochans stocked with some of the best quality trout around. Hard fighting rainbow, brown, tiger and blue trout. Golfing- We have 3 large pitching greens, 1 large putting green, 2 full size bunkers and a 300 yards driving range. Shooting- Purpose built air rifle and pistol range where you can come along and use our air guns or bring your own. Coffee Shop We have a coffee shop that serves breakfast rolls, breakfasts, lunches, all homemade and quality cakes and of course teas and coffees. We also have two poly-tunnels where we grow all our own plants, fruit and vegetables. We are also DOG FRIENDLY

What a great place to visit. There are many different activities to suit everyone including, a trout fishery, golf practice range, air rifle shooting range, pony trekking, an animal sanctuary , a kids play area and a great restaurant with a fantastic menu at very reasonable prices. They also sell free range goods and planted hanging baskets. Well worth a visit.
