Mixed bag
Reviewed By scottishlobosSituated just off the motorway in Larbert the hotel was easy to find although our sat nav took us to a garden centre about 5 minutes away for some reason. When we booked we were told check in was from 2pm but day before we arrived got an email saying check in not till 3pm. Check in was smooth and easy enough so no problems. Went to the room and the lift was filthy. Doesn't look like its been cleaned for months. Got to room and standard premier inn room which is fare enough, you get what you pay for but 2 dirty big cobwebs in one of the corners of the room. Bed was comfy and was looking forward to a lovely rest after a late night but never happened. Room was first room on the floor and must have also been located next to a cleaning cupboard or something. Constant noise of doors banging and shutting and folk passing the room making noise made it impossible to sleep. Hotel was at full capacity due to a gig at the local football stadium so not sure if that had something to do with it being noisy. Staff were friendly enough and there is a descent pub selling food across from hotel. All in all, bit of a mixed bag.

No better than a run down Hostel
Reviewed By Damdomdunc321Booked this as was attending The Killer Gig on 06/06/22 in Falkirk. main reason for booking was i liked the look of the Castle and was looking forward to the experience. When we allocated out Room , we were horrified to find out it is nothing like the pictures that are advertised on the Website. The Furniture was old , chipped and dated . The Curtains had , what can only be described as Vomit on them , the Bin had empty Beer Cans in it. There was unsightly water stains on the Ceilings and the Walls were badly in need of repainting. We went for Breakfast which was open from around 7.30am - 10am. We went down for Breakfast at 8.10am to find there was next to nothing left to eat!! We had to make do with 1 rasher of Bacon and Beans !!! For the £139.00 that we paid for 1 night in the dump is day light robbery at best!! We have stayed in far better Hotels for a fraction of the cost. The only reccommendation i would have is for this place to be closed down for refurbishment and for the Management to get real when applying costs of the rooms. This is not worth £139.00!!!!!

From the moment we walked in Stacey was very friendly and helpful with good energy that instantly made you feel comfortable and happy to be there. She deserves the 5 stars herself as she really did make our stay there the best it could of been. Also the hotel we couldn't fault as it was clean and tidy and has everything you need. Thanks again Stacey for making our stay so much fun!

Reviewed By Graeme KSunday evening dinner visit. Nice at first glance and busy at our visit. Other than that a forgetful experience with poor quality fare. The main course appeared within a few minutes of order which suggest sitting on a hot plate for convenience until ordered. This result in unpleasant tasting steak pie with soggy puff pastry, stewed carrots possibly from a tin and for my wife battered fish that was soggy and grease laden. Only the chips served had passed marks. Perhaps the low cost budget menu is the reason for the quality. It I’ll be a while before I attempt that again.

Brand new hotel in Falkirk, Central Scotland. 48 brand new en-suite bedrooms. The closest hotel to the world famous "Kelpies" in Helix Park, Falkirk.
perfect stay not sure
Reviewed By elainehubbwe stayed so i could take my daughter and grandchildren to see the kelpies and wheel the hotel rooms were spotless my main problem i found the floor of the shower very slippy and had to stand on my tee shirt but i sorted it, its such a sham that outside the main doors is very untidy , and the workman made you feel unwelcome even thou i except its a car park it could be tidied up, the reception staff are FIRST CLASS from when i booked all the questions i asked re how far was it from Kelpies ect was spot on even when we were leaving another receptionist gave us directions to the wheel , The staff are the best thing about the hotel i wouldnt want to stay there for more than 1 night with children, as its not a area to walking about after tea also £ 85 x2 is expensive for being in the middle of a industrial estate also the main lift down is filthy the floor where the door opens was covered in brown and red smudge

B&B Drum Farm is a family run business, situated in an 300 year old farm house surrounded by beautiful contryside only 7 miles out of stirling.

Super dog friendly, brilliant off lead walks from the farm itself and so quiet. The room was spotlessly clean and the full Scottish breakfast was fabulous. Endless tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits for you to help yourself to just outside your room and use of a fridge and a microwave should you need them. Jess was so friendly and accomplished we will definitely be back. Anybody needing a stop over to break up your journey or even for a longer stay this place is great.

Reviewed By duxNewcastleA genuine warm and friendly welcome from a lovely couple, a fantastic dinner in a beautiful dining room, a great nights sleep and a wonderful breakfast. Ardtalla is steeped in history and a truly memorable place to stay. There are some lovely finishing touches and an eye for detail. We felt very much at home from the moment we walked in. Our little dog was welcomed too and we slept like babies after dining there. We can’t wait to return.
