A fantastic evening meal
Reviewed By I7913SRpauleI had the most wonderful meal at this family run restaurant. The food was delicious, made with home grown and locally sourced ingredients and prepared with care and love. Great effort was made to explain each dish and how it was made. The portions were very generous. I'm already planning another visit to this wonderful region and I will certainly return for another meal. If anyone is reading this and has the opportunity to taste the food here, I would highly recommend you book and allow yourself to experience a wonderful culinary treat.

We had dinner there on the day of Ferragosto, they offered us even more specialties then usually as for the celebration!..I can just suggest la Tankitta to everybody who loves good food and expects hospitality...

Our farm is situated in the middle of a hill, 7 km from the sea in Castelsardo. The structure consists of 6 double / triple rooms with private bathroom, TV, fridge. The owner of the farm is responsible for management of the farm. The azinda is also registered as a petting zoo, home to schools and groups who want to experience a day in the company.In our farm you can taste the typical dishes of Sardinian anglonese and Gallura.

We couldn’t eat everything but the hosts were wonderful and wrapped it up for us to take away. Wine was delicious! Everything was just fabulous! GO!

Lovely place with lovely owners
Reviewed By RalucaEftimieFor the accommodation i will only give 4 stars as it is not as expected. Kind of old and dinghy with a funny smell. The bench on the porch was broken, the hot water never came on and we were forced to have cold showers. Still, it is in a nice setting and quiet. Leaving aside the accommodation, the hosts are really nice and welcoming and then it comes the food which is amazing!!!! Typical sardinian food to die for. Get the dinner as you will have one of the best meals on all island.

Reviewed By Rosie62MoneinRooms are really clean with air con, Wi-Fi and balcony from which to enjoy an evening drink and to listen to the birds and farm animals ( this was pleasant )The dinner was served at 20.30 and honestly we couldn’t stop eating everything was delicious and amazing value. We had to leave early for the ferry to Barcelona the next morning but breakfast was set up for us. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you

Reviewed By 1969MarianDas Agriturismo liegt in ruhiger Lage in den Hügeln von Nordsardinien, etwa 20 km von den Stränden bei Castelsardo. Kein Straßenlärm, keine Hektik. Ruhige, geräumige, saubere Zimmer, die im Sommer angenehm kühl sind. Das Agriturismo ist herrlich zum Entspannen, morgens hört man lediglich die Glöckchen der Schafe auf den umliegenden Weiden. Absolut ansprechend ist die Küche der Chefin Gina. Original sardische Gerichte in unterschiedlichen Menüs von vegetarisch bis Lamm/Schwein. Nahezu alles stammt aus eigener Produktion. Der Hauswein ist aus der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Geholfen wird auch bei der Organisation von Ausflügen, Weintouren in benachbarten Weinbergen oder Sonstigem. Gesprochen wird auch Englisch und Deutsch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The Farmhouse Holiday Monte Istulargiu is located near to Valledoria, a well known tourist place in the north of Sardinia. The farm is placed on a hill with a wonderful view over the Asinara Gulf and the Coghinas river valley. The ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday in the nature, but very close to the beautiful sea of Sardinia. In our company you can do horse riding school, horseback riding and walking, to fully enjoy the natural wonders that offers the surrounding area.

Reviewed By Sarda-GirlHad a superb Easter Monday lunch at Agritourismo Monte Istulargiu. The place was full, brilliant atmosphere, excellent food and service. Very local entertainment in the form of three musicians who played after we'd eaten. All the Sardo songs were accompanied by the other diners which gave it a real family lunch time feel. Could not fault the food or the red wine, certainly more than we could eat or drink. We use this establishment quite regularly, and, to date have never had a bad experience. I would recommend the Agritourismo Monte Istulargiu to anyone wanting to try a taste of local cuisine and hospitality.

Truly rural experience
Reviewed By MrsHerefordThis is a remote place, but very good if you are looking for tranquillity. At 6.15 each evening the sheep would move from one field to another. From the terrace we had a lovely view of countryside and lake and distant mountains. The family were very welcoming and we spent a very relaxing time there. Our room was decorated in a modern style and the bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast offered us a choice of breads and jams. The evening meals were traditional, with antipasti, a pasta course and then a meat course. It suited us.

Warm Family Atmosphere in a Stunning Setting
Reviewed By SabinaM696We visited Agriturismo Cugumia as part of a summer field school with students from the University of British Columbia's Go Global program in June 2019. While we did not overnight there, we were treated to a tour of the property, a multi-course feast, and participated in making traditional "impanadas." We fell in love with Cugumia! The property, which belongs to a titled Sardinian family, is leased to the cooperative that runs it as an agriturismo establishment. The setting is charming; in addition to the old manor house, the property includes a nuraghe (dry stone tower), a 12th century chapel to San Gavino, the patron saint of Sardinia, and stunning views of Thiesi and the Bidighinzu basin. It's an ideal setting for a wedding, a family reunion, or a business retreat. The members of the cooperative are so knowledgeable and well-informed about the place's history and Sardinian heritage in general. You will experience hospitality as you have never known it. Visit Cugumia for an experience you will never forget!
