We walked 2 km tru the porring rain to reach Barre Rouge in Vieux Lille. But it was worth it. Very modern and contempory. Very polite servants. Small menu and not so much choise for a big kitchten brigade, 3 entrance, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. But we ordered before and they proposed a nice menu for 40 â¬. And with some extras it was really a discovery. The wines are also very good, and the price is right. Only minus is a little to less bread ... surely for such a good butter they improved. Also it would been nice that the chef would pass by the his guests... we woulded have to write this. I think the restaurant is going up the charts, keep up the good work.

Made reservations for Quai38 in advance of our stay in Lille. Did not want to miss this for a wonderful evening with my wife, who is a food snob like myself. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The staff makes you feel very welcome. Dishes were original and putting the quality of the food in its power. This tasted like a starry starry night! Bertrand cum suis... thanks for this experience.

Here for the Paris Roubaix Challenge and staying close by so decided to give this place a go given previous reviews and we werenât disappointed! Lovely proprietor who made us feel really welcome and the food was delicious too! I opted to try all 3 âPancooksâ which is bread filled with 3 fillings - scrumptious ( although had to leave some of the exterior). I start my review with the positive things. The place is charming, well decorated, and the food is very good. The restaurant has potential for being another excellent restaurant in the highly competitive Lille market. On the downside, there are plenty of room for improvement. For example, we waited almost one hour to get our meal, we have to ask one of the waiters for our order. We were so hungry that we did not take our time to enjoy the main course. Furthermore, we lost our appetite for a dessert after waiting so much. No apologies for the waiting time were provided. The menu is minimal, almost no explanation. The offer is limited to three dishes and prices scale fast. The quality of the service does not match the price range and the quality of the food served. The best part of our meal was the wine, which was the only thing we could properly enjoy.

Great location, great food and wine experience, perfect service ... at a reasonable price (during the week) for 4 courses dinner, paired wines, champagne aperitif and 2 half liter bottles of sparking water 120 ⬠p.p. My 2cents : currently best foodie place around Kortrijk and Waregem. Well done !

Our evening in Boury was perfect from the start till the end. Five minutes after entering the beautiful renovated mansion, we already saw 3 or 4 different people welcoming us and introducing us to the menu. The house cocktail was amazing, the perfect start of the evening. So were the apetizers. We decided to go for the 7 course menu with wines. Every dish was totally different and gave you an explosion of taste. The wines were very nice as well, even though not all of them were according to my taste. However, the quality of the food and wine was excellent. The cuisine is quite pure (something I like) with pure tastes and ingredients. One minor remark is that they billed one glass of wine we decided to skip. We also had to wait quite long for 2 courses, but the atmosphere was nice (a fire was burning outsidem ,,,) so this did not really bother us.The service was very good. There is a certain etiquette, which I appreciate, but the people are not stiff and were very kind. The evening ended with a suprise as we received a small sweet bread for the morning after. These details make you go home with a wonderfull feeling. A big thumbs up for the entire Boury team, and I will surely come back in summer to enjoy the terrace and outside kitchen!

We visited here as a group of 20. Indeed we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Simply decorated but charming with lots of ambiance. Perfect sunny day. We had pre-ordered to make it easier. We received the most exquisite meal, my heaven as it was all sea food! The service was excellent and everything perfect. My favorite place on our trip.

Friends recommended this restaurant and with 0 lies we ended our experience. Great & friendly staff & hostess. Food was perfect and exquisite. Good job chef! Bistro Bordo is a cosy restaurant on the verge of the town center. The pleasant dining room immediately made us feel like home.The menu is all about fondue. Our group had the Mexican and the regular fondue, both of which were delicious. The same could be said of the (affordable) wine.During the entire meal, we got the full attention of the hostess, who kept bringing us new sauces, fries and fajitas. For an informal, relaxing, tasty and affordable dining experience in Kortrijk, head for Bistro Bordo!

We visited this restaurant with a group of 30 persons and we were impressed. The food was delicous, nicely presented and the service was perfect. Although we were such a big group the staff was very attentive, we were served all at the same time and every request was fullfilled. As a couple we will definitely go back on our next visit.
