We had booked a table at La Cala delle Lampare. It is just outside Praiano on the coast and is the restaurant of Hotel Tritone. There is valet parking here!We had our aperitif (prosecco) at the balcony outside with a fantastic view. When it became a bit chilly because of the wind, we were brought to our table in the restaurant (and we choose to sit inside, still with a view).The menu offers an ''international'' choice as well as a traditional Italian choice. We sampled both and both were excellent.With had an amuse of seabream, followed by a starter of cubes of salmon marinated with orange and honey on couscous. Very nice and very fresh. I had a starter of octopus tails, also very nice indeed.As a main, I had a ''traditional'' dish of pork and my wife had spaghetti with porcini and hazelnuts.The tiramisu was very special and very creamy!The red wine was also special, it was a wounderful wine from the Amalfi coast made of a grape variety that I do not remember, that had not been affected (in the past) by phylloxera. Very nice and different indeed. Maybe the variety was a ''tintore di tramonti" from Tenuta San Francesco.....The service was really very good and attentive. Sea To Table - When you've grown tired of the posh over-the-top touristy Positano, take a short 20 drive or a 5 minute water taxi will take you to Praiano, a small fishing cove just south of Positano, nearly untouched by time. The absolute freshest seafood with a beautiful presentation. Most likely be greeted and served by the owner Salvatore who has lived in the house upstairs. Originally owned by his grandfather since the 1930's with traditional Italian recipes from his grandmother. Bar Mare Petit, also known by Donna Clelia feels like you're a friend of the family .... with a amazing table on the beach! I was treated so kindly, got a tour of the back kitchen where he showed me the razor clams that were caught that day. After diner gave me a shot of their house made Limoncello & Cremamelone (Amazing) & some of their amazing cake made only around Easter time. Living up to true Italian hospitality both bottle were left on our table for us to pour freely. As you might expect, we had a amazing time here! Make sure to take home a few bottles of his homemade lemoncello, I've sampled a lot his is my favorite.

The restaurant is located just below the Onda Verde, on the way to the beach. We had a nice salad, coffee and an Apparol as kitchen is closed from about 16:00 till 19:00.Well located on a lower balcony viewing the beach

I loved this restaurant. We shared a pizza which was the best pizza I've had and we shared a Mediterranean salad which also was excellent. Very reasonably priced and large portions.The menu is in Italian with an English translation under it. You can sit inside or outside. I wished we ate here more often!

Definitely make arrangements to come here for a romantic sunset cocktail. We did order the zucchini blossoms which were delicious. We planned to have dinner here, however, the rest of the menu didnât appeal to us. The service was excellent and the cocktails were delicious. We did feel that they were quite pricey given all the ice that came in the drink. Price would not have been a factor otherwise.

My husband and I ate here two nights in a row, while in Praiano a few weeks ago. First off, the views from the upper terrace are stunning, especially at sunset! Be sure to ask to be seated there (you may need to make a reservation). The pizza and Caprese salad are both delish! What a memorable evening we had, we just had to come back the next night!! Silva our waitress the first evening was awesome! She's very efficient, welcoming, and super nice. La Strada even makes their own limoncello, so be sure to end your evening with some:) Highly recommend this amazing restaurant on the gorgeous Amalfi Coast!

This restaurant is a must. If you are on the Amalfi Coast in this area you must have your dinner in this restaurant. It is family run with fun as youâre having your food, the time we went the father and mother were also at the restaurant working, the father sings the night away, Whatâs the star of the show by far is the food, we had seafood to start and seafood made, the food was delicious from start to finish. The atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful, the scenery is excellent, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.
