Italian food - very good and you get some delicious bread with toppings as a starter. This restaurant is not located in the center of Mol, 5 minutes driving from the center but located in a nice quiet area, of which the terrace oversees beautiful landscape. As the restaurant is very spacious, this is the perfect location to go to with your kids, specificially if you have a baby stroller it can be really hard to manoeuvre is some restaurants, but not in this one. The owners have 2 twins! themselves so know how to make the location kids-friendly :).You can also get pizza's to go from here.

I stopped here with my husband after visiting the monastery. It was very crowded and they allow smoking inside (strange). I ordered a vitello tonato sandwich without rocket (rucola, arugula) and it came with LOTS of rocket in. Pity the server didn't listen properly. The sandwich itself was OK. My husband had the uitsmijten which was OK too.

We arrived here because we had no reservations and all other restaurants in the neighboorhood were full. We were very positively surprised. This is certainly a restaurant that has improved very much since our last visit, after which I decided not to com again. Very good food quality, nice quantity, good presentation for a fair price. They won us over again!

If you are in for a good steak or grill, then this place is definitely worth a visit. The food is really good. The reason I rate this average is because of the rather low ceilings in a type of restaurant where good ventilation is needed. Because of the smell/air and the low ventilation, I felt like a grilled steak myself afterwards :). So if you can sit outside when the weather is good, that is perfect!

I'm writing this review for my parents who have just returned from what they describe as the most miserable over-priced food experience of their life. They booked a christmas eve dinner for 2 several weeks ago and were looking forward to it.Upon arrival they were made to wait 45 minutes before the first course was served, the set menu stated smoked salmon, but instead they were served raw salmon. My mother asked for clarification and rather than being apologetic the waitress merely stated " did I not say it was raw?" (no dear and the menu stated SMOKED) As an 'alternative' my mother was served a tiny lobster salad which in effect amounted to half the starter. The next course took another 45 minutes to arrive, the promised 'chicken flan' was tasteless and at best resembled cheap chicken mince. The main dish (again served 45 minutes later) was entirely tasteless. To top it all off when my mother had to go and get the bill herself as the service was so chaotic and useless, she was presented with a 400 EURO bill, instead of the 200 Euros the bill should be. Again no apology. Also if you are charging those prices one should not be expected to go fetch ones own bill. The service throughout the night was useless, the waiting times unacceptable (it's a set menu- seriously this should be easier than serving a la carte diners!) the atmosphere non-existent and the food not even worth half of what was being charged. Other diners were equally disappointed. Take note- when diners are talking to each other about how bad the food is, you have a problem. Once this restaurant was great but since they lost their chef to another restaurant it's gone downhill dramatically and it's a disgrace they are still charging their old prices when they are not delivering in regards to food nor service. AVOID

I'd highly recommend this restaurant tucked in the heart of Mol, Belgium. The food is first-rate, and is served by friendly & helpful staff. If possible, try to eat downstairs as the atmosphere is better than upstairs, where it tends to be quieter (on a mid-week night). Great to get such good value too, we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived.

Postelsche Hofstee is a typical Belgian restaurant where families go on a Sunday at 12:00 to eat, talk and sit there until late afternoon and where food is not the first priority, it is the whole package that counts. I ate there several times now and they serve a French/Flemish/Belgian cuisine. It is good quality, sometimes even too much, but not haute cuisine, do not expect refined dishes. The white and red house wine is OK, service is friendly and quick.

We enjoyed our evening in this little but ambitious gem. Our choice was the 5 course set menu. Talbot and rabbit were to the point - just delicious! The cod was a bit dry - our only room for improvement. Bouffard serves little dishes with almost no carbs (except for the bread). The white house wine (Touraine Sauvignon Blanc) is on above average quality level. The Malbec Reserva was just fine with the rabbit. The bill was not low but at fully acceptable price-performance level. We'll be back!
