Donetsk (Ukrainian: Донецьк [dɔˈnɛtsʲk]; Russian: Доне́цк [dɐˈnʲɛtsk]; former names: Aleksandrovka, Hughesovka, Yuzovka, Stalino (see also: cities' alternative names)) is an industrial city in Ukraine on the Kalmius River. The population was estimated at 929,063 (2016 est.) in the city, and over 2,000,000 in the metropolitan area (2011). According to the 2001 Ukrainian Census, Donetsk was the fifth-largest city in Ukraine. Since April 2014, the city has been controlled by pro-Russian separatists from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.

Tri Tolstyaka is on the corner of one of the main boulevards, quite central. Friendly staff, portions of food are very well, more than enough. Food itself is fine, not excellent, but it i really okay, you can go here and have a wide choice of different food.

Cozy, tasty, relaxed and unhurried.Actually had live music on a weekday, and as opposed to the usual loudness of such things, here it was for ambiance, which was great.A definite repeat.PSThe same restaurant was already reviewed here as "Schinkali", with the address written in German - as you can imagine, there are no Shtrasses in Ukraine :)

They said they still openeded after some time because of war. The ordered like-shreddered-chicken with mashed potatoes was good. It tooked some time to get the beer. Dessert (strudel) was good to. The waiters are very friendly. You can also pay with Russian Rubles.

Beforehand, address of the restaurant is wrong on Trip Advisor. Atmosphere is good is you were just stopping by for a coffee or a "cold one". I found the place really dark (could barely see my food). Service is yet to be up to par, food was average. Verdict for my supper was a little too steep and that is comparing to other restaurants in the vicinity.

We went for a dinner to this restaurant.The ambience is very nice, but the rest was notIt took forever for the waiter to come to us. Then it took eternity for him to bring our order.I ordered a steak, medium rare, instead he brought me a steak that was well done, super dry and too much pepper on it. Instead of acknowledging his mistake or chefâs mistake, he was arguing and didnât not change the steak for medium rare.So the evening was ruined :(

When visiting Donetsk for the first time, I had a dinner with business partners there. Food was pretty good: duck trotters were particularly good, beef carpaccio and pasta with lamb didn't disappoint either. Service was good, even that somewhat slow. Design-wise maybe not the best example ever but nice, plain, simple.

Worth a visit, even if you are not staying at Ramada Dionetsk, where the restaurant is located. Beer good! Menu the same already how many time. ÐаказÑÑÑ has nothing from menu, all very boring and gloomily. Very small dishes are from fish - Ñ Ð¾ÑÐ¿ÐµÑ dish of terrible quality. Burgers were spoilt! Instead of beef in these burgers will find pork and кÑÑиннÑй stuffing, that simply HORROR! These burgers also can prepare Ñеа or мидиÑм Ñеа for you. Be careful, simply IMPERMISSIBLE! Bow rings most terrible are in city. BEER GOOD!
