Rostov-on-Don (Russian: Росто́в-на-Дону́, tr. Rostov-na-Donu, IPA: [rɐˈstof nə dɐˈnu]) is a port city and the administrative center of Rostov Oblast and the Southern Federal District of Russia. It lies in the southeastern part of the East European Plain on the Don River, 32 kilometers (20 mi) from the Sea of Azov. The southwestern suburbs of the city abut the Don River delta. The population is just over one million people with recent figures recorded as: 1,089,261 (2010 Census); 1,068,267 (2002 Census); 1,019,305 (1989 Census).

Pit kofe is a pan-russian brand. They work 24/7 and you can find pretty much anything. You can eat, drink, or order appetizers. You can have coffee (duh!) or different juices, beers or spirits, you can have lunch, dinner, desserts; you name it. Even sushi. Their dishes are well prepared as are their desserts (which, by the way, are european style --like cheesecake, lemon tart, etc). You can have pizza, meatballs or soups, their menu looks more like a book. It is satisfactory.HOWEVER: Their prices are kind of chilly for Russia. For example one basic pizza costs RUB300 (~â¬5) and you can eat it in 5 minutes and still feel hungry. Most dishes' prices vary (from â¬5 to â¬12).Drinks in pit kofe are also expensive for Russia. For example a glass of any spirit (50ml) costs RUB200 (~â¬3,5). Naturally Russians like to spend hours in bars drinking. I was there with my wife and we had a pizza, one portion of meatballs, and 8 glasses of captain morgan rum-cola and we payed RUB3000 (~â¬50) which seemed a lot.Above all this is a good solution for hanging out *if* you can afford the extra rubles.

The place located in the city center, the interior is cozy and warm. Friendly weiters. But the food is average and prices are pretty high. We took a soup and fish, the soup was average, but the fish was terrible, but the dessert was good.

Stunning design, we wanted to see every corner of the restaurant, so good and original that's it done. Beer collection also impressed us. As for food, originality was only in the dishes's names - the names of Russian literary heroes and writers. It was tasty, but usually. Apparently in this institution the main advantages of beer and interior.

excellent restaurant. good variety of original food, and amazing ambience. we sat outside which was lovely, there was live violin music and then we had a drink inside where there was lovely music. great food, reasonable prices for what it has to offer. if you visit rostov this is a great place to have a nice dinner.

Wonderfull place. Naturally our host knew the place so the menu was not needed.Excellent shaslik, cheese plates, diffent kind of breads just baked.Salads and like. Cousy looking place and very nice interior.If somebody is missing nice original food as come here.Many restaurants are stating that they have Georgian, or Kaukasus kitchen.This is not only stating, that's all what is it about. Genuine food at nice place with good service. One cant get much more!!!

The food is great - traditional Cossack style. Restaurant is set in a 'traditional' Cossack style village so dinner is in a separate private building. Performers play Cossack music and dance. Try the 10 berry vodka, it's outstanding.

I went to Drago during the World Cup at the day Brazil played in Rostov. No one speak english in the restaurant but the waiter is so good and so helpful that was very easy to order very good steaks and a great lamb. I sincerely missed Drago steaks! Great and simple place.
