We were planning a cycling tour in Flanders when we heard about the fascinating Koers cycling museum, but thatâs another topic. We arrived after 40k of wind, rain and hail needing food. The Koers Kaffee came up trumps; there were lots of other cyclists as well as families. The menu is in Flemish but the lady who came to take our order was happy to explain the two sections: âsmall hungerâ and âbig hungerâ, plus the regional specials and an excellent selection of beers (of course, we were in Flanders). We followed her advice and had a dish of potatoes mashed with buttermilk, poached eggs and shrimps. Sounds odd? Yes, but it was very tasty. The local Rodenbach beer went down well, quickly followed by another one, and we were in the mood for the museum and another 40k ride back to Ieper. Iâve already recommended it to friends at home and Iâll certainly go again for lunch and spend longer in the museum, too.

Men stelde ons drie lunchgerechten voor maar als we de rekening kregen waren we enigszins verrast 29⬠voor de mosselen is wel zeer duur. Stoverij was 20⬠ook niet zo goedkoop. Gerechten waren lekker maar de frieten niet waren diepvries en heel hard. Dit zijn geen lunch prijzen. Maar gerechten waren wel lekker en het was er heel druk maar misschien waren heel wat klanten misleidt zoals wij.

We had the culinary breakfast. The croissant (though very buttery), coffee and juice were excellent. However, the bread wasn't that spectacular, charcuterie was very basic and service was friendly but slow.Definitely not a bad place for brunch, but the quality does not justify the somewhat higher prices.

Aangenaam kader en heel vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening. Wij aten er met een Groupon voucher. De amuse bij het aperitief was heel lekker. De rundscarpaccio bevatte volgens ons iets teveel balsamico crème, wat de smaak wat teveel overheerste, maar smaken verschillen. De Ierse cote à l'os was verrukkelijk en ook het nagerecht van de chef was lekker. Een goeie bistro met gezellig interieur, correcte prijzen en vlotte service. Geef ons maar meer van dat.

Lekkere verse producten en heel vriendelijke bediening. Uitzonderlijk dat je uit zoveel mag kiezen in een menu aan die scherpe prijs: 29 EURO voor een voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht en dessert naar keuze. En er wordt zeker niet geprofiteerd bij de prijzen van de dranken. We gaan zeker nog terug en raden Brasserie Flores dan ook warm aan!

Brasserie traditionnelle, accueille sympathique et service rapide.Assiettes bien services et mets de qualité, très bonne viande et en quantité suffisante.Le steak de bÅuf à 22â¬, un peu chère cependant dans une brasserie...Nous y retournerons sans hésiter si l'occasion venait à se représenter.

Afgelopen grijze maandagochtend geweest vanwege verjaardag van m'n vrouw. De zaak fleurde direct de dag op: ik kan enkel bevestigen wat de andere lovende reacties zijn (zowel op tripadvisor als google, hoogste score van Roeselare): gezellig & nostalgisch interieur, verrassend veel volk voor een maandag ochtend. Snelle & vriendelijke service. Gekozen voor weverkes + klein ontbijt. Overheerlijke blueberry/ahornsiroop american pancakes, lekkere broodjes & koffiekoeken, fruit & yoghurt. Grote collectie koffies, thees & chocomelk varianten. Speciale zeer mooie verjaardagsdecoratie voor m'n vrouw. Dit allemaal voor relatief lage prijs. Ik kan ook niet wachten om terug te komen!! :-)

A brilliant place to meet friends for a catch up or even for a quiet sit down after a busy day shopping. My favourites: the croques and of course the pancakes - but which one to choose? And then the teas - waw - so many to choose from and so beautifully presented. Go! You won't be disappointed!
