It was very nice, clean, typically Cypriot accommodation with home grown, organic vegetable produce and meals. The staff were helpful and friendly and the Ambelia Village hotel is nicely laid out with a lovely pool - but best to catch the sun in the morning and early afternoon! We followed 3 walks which each had historic places to see. the written instructions in English were not very comprehensive, a little confusing at times and not very well laid out - it would have been helpful to have more idea of distances indicated between each instruction. The Garmin provided helped keep us on track, expecially when the taxi driver dropped us at the slightly wrong start point on two occasions! I think it would be an improvement to have more paths to choose from which are soft underfoot through forest rather than on hard stone roads which can be used by vehicles.

10. A day trip to the heart of lacework LEFKARA VILLAGE and NICOSIA
Today you will be picked up from your hotel in Larnaca and will be driven to Lefkara village. It is famous with its lacework. While you walk and take photos in the narrow streets of the stoned houses you will see villagers doing the lacework either in their houses or in the shops. You must taste a traditional Cypriot coffee just before you leave the village. Of course depending on the traffic, it may take about 45 min. to Nicosia.
