Empowering them with the skills and confidence to share their story. through the vibrant and colourful streets of Smithfield in Dublin 7. Shane will guide you through the vibrant and colourful streets of Smithfield in Dublin 7 to which he has a deep connection having once called these streets home. We’ll begin the tour outside Collin’s Barracks. Just up the steps from the Museum Luas Stop. From there, Shane will guide you through the streets, sharing his unique perspective and experiences of homelessness along the way. We’ll wrap up the tour approximately 1 hour later opposite St. Mary of the Angels. Close by to the Luas and Smithfield square for you to continue your day exploring Dublin. This 1-hour Hurling Tour involves giving tourists a presentation informing them about the sport. We delve into the history of Hurling and how it has evolved into the fastest field game in the world, that we see today. This is all done in a Hurling team's dressing room in Kilkenny City, giving tourists that up-close, intense experience. Once tourists are up-to-date on the basics of the game, we take them on to the field to try a few basic skills for themselves. This is the part that has proved most popular, with guests eager to get immersed in the Irish culture.
