We had the opportunity to tour a local market before the lesson which was an interesting experience. Edith was friendly and welcoming, and gave us such a brilliant insight into the area - The cooking was good fun and with easy to follow recipes which we all enjoyed. I would highly recommend this experience if you want to experience more than the usual tourist destinations, excellent for groups and couples

We have 2 choices, a cooking workshop and a tour that we also cook in. Our workshops range from Adult to child and sometimes a mix if the parents would like to join in with their children, we mainly focus on wester style food, British, French & Italian cuisine, but we will be starting workshops on Cantonese/Chinese food in future as this is mainly for the tour. For more information and contacts for our workshops, please contact us through our facebook. We start the tour In one of the most popular local markets in HongKong where you will be one of the few foreigners to ever come to this busy market. Your guides with be Callum (professional Sottish/British chef) & Ying (a local who speaks fluent english and has studied in tourism). From the market, we will move to our Professional kitchen with the ingredients hunted from the market we have been to, to make delicious local HK food!

Fun hands on class. I joined "Workshop 1 - Hands On Traditional Organic Boiled Dumpling class" with my husband. First we visit the "wet market" nearby and got the Iberico pork to cook for the class. The pork is literally fresh from the market. Felicity is a sweet lady, friendly, very kind and relaxed. Happy and open to answer all our questions. We used the wrapper from the store, but she showed how to make from the scratch. We also had the chance of hands on experience to stretch the wrapper dough. I believe it's a good balance to manage the class on timely basis, yet giving the opportunity of hands on part. Both boiled dumplings and pan-fried gyoza were tasty. We also visited the market after the class. Wonderful local market to see and shop. All looked so fresh. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. I wish to join Workshop 2 - pork bun class, soon !!!
