Excellent approach of people at the reception in both shifts, which we had the opportunity to see. Nice and well equipped room. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection. The possibility of charging an electric car was a requirement for choosing accommodation, but we were still pleasantly surprised by the possibility of charging the vehicle to full capacity.

Bad guest-relations policy

Let me first tell you the pluses and then explain why I still didn’t enjoy the stay. Pros: + Pretty clean (if you don’t check what’s under the bed) + Modern design, “fresh” building + Quiet + Democratic price + Free parking Cons: - Poor, average breakfast: 5 types of salami, 2 types of cheese, sliced watermelon as the only fruit, cheap machine coffee etc. Check the photos. - Tricky reservations department. I clearly wrote in the email that I would like to book the Eco-Suite WITH a balcony. Instead of this they booked the room without it and didn’t tell me. Ok, misunderstanding happens. BUT! - The receptionist refused to relocate us saying that she didn’t have free rooms with a balcony. Which was lies because all of them were free. We didn’t meet any single person on the floor during our stay and from the outside it was obviously seen. Once again, check the photos. She was probably just lazy to change the room for us. I should add that we stayed with a 7-months old baby, who goes to sleep at 8 p.m. So, instead of enjoying the evening at the balcony after our child fell asleep, we had to spend the evening in silence on our phones. So, it’s ok for a one-night stay but don’t expect special treatment. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel for another family trip with a baby.

Hapimag Resort Salzburg

Salzburg is a worthwhile holiday destination for lovers of art and culture. The world of classical music is omnipresent, not only during the world-famous festival. Best Location in Salzburg Altstadt

Reviewed By SFbySail

We've stayed in Salzburg many times, and this is by far the best location. Step out the door and you are surrounded by old Salzburg. Cafes, restaurants, museums are all just steps away. Our studio was well equipped with everything we needed for a 4 night stay, including a Nespresso Coffee maker. Facilities were spotlessly clean, and the staff was welcoming. We did our own breakfast with provisions from nearby markets and a bakery.

Villa Salzburg

The villa in Salzburg Villa Salzburg is a grand building in the elegant Riedenburg district. The villa is just a 10 minute walk from Salzburg’s famous historic city centre where you’ll find the Salzburg Festspielhaus (Festival Hall) and many other cultural sights and attractions. It’s also easy to reach the other areas of the city in comfort via a short bus journey. Tradition meets design The villa was built in 1893 and has a long history. In 2015, the villa was completely renovated and expanded. At this time, a modern staircase with a glass front was added between the historic section and the new building. The holiday apartments also beautifully combine the historic architecture with modern and elegant design elements. The result is exclusive and luxurious designer apartments that offer an exceptional living environment. Rooftop terrace with a view Guests are welcome to use our partially landscaped, 70 m² rooftop terrace. The terrace offers views of Mönchsberg Mountain and the villas in the Riedenburg district. The rooftop terrace is equipped with comfortable lounge furniture, relaxing loungers and romantic lighting for wonderful evenings to end your day. Modern sustainability Villa Salzburg is a symbol of luxury holidays in Salzburg, as well as environmental awareness and sustainability. The renovation work in 2015 transformed the villa into a low-energy building that now generates the majority of its own power and heat with an 80 m² photovoltaic system. The building is a prime example of sustainable and environmentally conscious construction. Luxury holidays in the centre of Salzburg The unique location near the Neutor tunnel makes it possible for you to reach most attractions on foot. The bus stop is just a few metres from our building. There are also many cafes, bakeries and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Villa Salzburg, as well as a supermarket, laundrette, hairdresser and much more.

Would Stay Here Again

Reviewed By momavery

Clean, comfortable, updated, well appointment, good parking, and easy walk to old town. No complaints at all. We would recommend, and would also stay here again if ever in Salzburg. Our digital code for the door did not work, so we needed to call an after hours number to get a new code when we arrived. So we recommend having that phone number handy.

First of all, great location right next to equipement rental shops (Brundl - ask for Christian!), to the lifts, to trails and downtown. Underground garage (height 2.2m) with access to elevators (with a ramp). Great friendly staff willing to accommodate guests. The appartment (ours was 1-bedroom with sauna ) is spacious, well decorated, clean with a view on the Maiskogel mountain from the balcony. Kitchen is well equipped (note that there is no oven). Coffee machine is supplied with coffee packs (biodegradable). The room had 2 TV with main international channels (CNN, BBC, TV5, etc.) and plenty of storage. The restaurant has a great menu and will do room service (pizza was very good). The only drawback is the noise from a near-by Restaurant-Bar which had loud music on Saturday night (if you sleep with windows open…). They provided us with a Tauern spa card that gives you daily free access to this huge spa facility. They also provided us with the Summer Card, which allows you free acces to the cable cars going up to the Kitzsteinhorn mountain (usually 47euros pp) and other cable cars as well as free access to local museums and many other discounts - awesome! Don’t miss the Magical Lights at the Sigmund-Thun-Klamm gorge on Monday nights. Our best restaurants downtown were Cafe Kennidi and the Gastwirtschaft Tafern (both had great vegetarian options). Overall, an excellent place for a summer vacation for hiking, biking, canyoning, spa, eating and drinking great local zirbenschnaps!

Family pension with a nice design touch

Reviewed By Family123London

Pros: - wonderful location, great views - very good restaurant, great food, impeccable service - cool interior design, warm and modern Cons: - at core this is still a small family hotel, with no swimming pool, no proper SPA (just a small external sauna), cramped everywhere outside main restaurant, no place to find solace as the small bar overwhelmed by loud music apres-ski style - totally overpriced: we paid nearly €500 per night for a room that was advertised with a private terrace but ended up being without external access and just a small window which we could only partially open. None of the rooms have A/C and we could not enjoy let alone barely breathe in the room as it got overheated from the sun shining directly into the room. - breakfast does not offer fresh juice
