Nice but personnel
Reviewed By Theodor SMixed feelings. The location is superb and the premises are clean, well designed and cozy. The staff did its best to spoil the impression. My passport was damaged at the first moment of my stay (they intended to take a copy of the document and tore the main page). There were multiple attempts to enter my room without knocking at the door (I was inside) and without proper explanation. The personnel hardly spoke any language but Russian. I never received any compensation or excuse until the last day of my stay. Consider it when choosing Kaleydoskop.

We are in 200 meters of Nevsky Prospect, metro stations (Mayakovskaya / Area Rebellion / Vladimirskaya / Dostoevskaya). Will not be bored, among the large number of restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas, entertainment centers, shops with a variety of brands you can find everything you want, for every taste. One of the nicest factors, location of the Nevsky Prospekt just three minutes walk away. Many attractions, parks, monuments, rivers and canals, the famous drawbridges permanently leave in your heart pleasant memories !!
Brilliant stay
Reviewed By _nessmarksI was a bit worried about booking this hotel as it was very cheap compared to the other hotels on offer. Worked out to about 50 euro a night for 2 kids and 2 adults. But it was perfect! Great location, close to all the restaurants, bars and sights. The only downside was our room was very hot (but it was my own fault for not raising it with management). And a bit noisy, as it is on a busy street. But its spotlessly clean, lovely design of the rooms and friendly staff. So no complaints from me!

Reviewed By pizzouThe apartment is situated on the third floor and has no elevator. It’s the only week point I can found. It’s tucked down a little side street so despite it being in the heart of the city it’s quiet. Service was good. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by a very charming and helpful member of staff The apartment itself has modern furniture and accessories, flat screen, washing machine etc. It really has everything you will need plus much more including towels, hairdryer and air conditioning. The kitchen was fully fitted and very clear. We stayed for 5 nights and we had an absolutely awesome stay. Recommended for families.

Greenfeel is a unique combination of unusual architecture of St. Petersburg and modern ecological design. Reviewed By R0zaSAlthough we spent only about 6 hours in this hotel, I would like to share some thoughts on our experience. This place is very well located. I was not familiar at all with this part of the city, as we always turned left from the railway station, closer to the heart of the city, and here you have to turn right, and in 10 minutes or less you still find yourself in a very sympathetic neighbourhood (by the way, Alexander Nevsky Lavra is only 1 km away). We were able to leave our bags and get our room keys as soon as we arrived to SPb in the morning. Excellent welcoming staff, they even called us to check our arrival time and to suggest leaving our luggage in the reception area. The place is vibrant and decorated in a "loft" style. Everything looked fresh and modern. Of course, it is a mid-priced apart hotel, so, it is not the NYC style loft. Our room was clean and matched the overall style. The only con we noticed, it was quite cold in the room. I get cold easily, so I had to sleep with my clothes on (in order not to risk our Finnish trip to start early in the morning). We checked out as easily as we had checked in and left with mostly positive thoughts on this place.

Reviewed By MySaintNor· How do you like to stay at the place having a really strong smell? It must be those cats! They don't have soundproof rooms. You really hear every sound person occupying next room makes in the bathroom or even in bed. On the top of that if you have a court view you'll here terrible noise almost every morning as the court is used as storage of building materials! Bathroom doorknob felling off few times have been irritating. Especially, if you can't get out of bathroom by yourself. So we had to be aware and be courteous to never go both of us to the bathroom. One of us had to be outside in case doorknob will fell off and person on the outside will need to use room keys to " open " bathroom door..... The shower was leaking all the time so the bathroom floor was never dry...not a pleasant experience at night in the dark! They don't change towels or bad sheets if you'll not ask them. And if you ask them they'll do that not more often then ones every three days ..or four! They don't clean your room as well! Only if you ask them! This place doesn't have even normal ventilation system! If you'll want to complain to them you'll get the same answer. Something about building being hundred years old. They just don't want to invest some money into making this place a hotel... They don't even have a reception desk.. It looks like all off the stuff are living at the guest rooms when there no guests and just moving out couple of ours before your arrival! The view from our room ( wich was not the cheapest one ) was to a dirty concrete wall a meter away from a window!

It's very good-located, right in the center of the city, very close to plenty of necessary places: railway station, metro station, shops, etc. Despite the neighbourhood with the railway station, the hotel is very quiet and is good to have a rest after a long walking day. Good places to have a meal or just coffee with an ice-cream are also nearby, e.g. bistrot Garcon and cafe Venezia.

Reviewed By Shaddy-hatterBooked a duplex suit on an online platform using our main card from our home country as I am stuck in St Petersberg due to this virus cancelling my flights. After arriving at reception, they refused (in 2020) to accept an online payment. I had no option but to use an emergency funds card (that's for health costs etc) because they would not get with the 21st century and will only deal in face to face payment! I've never had problems booking using the site I refer to with our main card (which my wife has back home). She has always booked a room or an Airbnb for our travels. This hotel doesn't have the same trust in accepting payment from this site. It's a very dated practice and had put me out by a considerably. Further more, after I confirm the room and bite the bullet as it was late in the day, I could not extend on the day of checking out after I potentially fell ill. I was feeling symptoms synomenous with the global pandemic and I did not want To go to reception as I was bed ridden and not well. I had confirmed on check in that I would maybe need to extend due to flights not flying. They would not send someone up to get payment or help me whatsoever sort the issue out. They required that I myself get up out of bed, in pain and shivering ill, go to reception (and risk the spread of a virus if I have it). I decided if I was going to get up out of bed, I might as well go the extra bit and just leave!! I had already had enough by the time i called the restaurant the day before... They rudely hung up on me when I asked if I could order in English as I did not speak Russian, I then asked reception to call on my behalf and they did not have tea, honey or lemon!!!! This whole 2 day experience was an absolute unmitigated disaster and I have never been somewhere so, so poor! My wife is the GM of a 5 star hotel and I don't expect the same level of service, but I know hotels and what the minimum service standards should be for a 3 star or above, this doesn't pass 1 star!!!!
