Great place to stay
Reviewed By Drunken CA very nice 10 day stay here with my wife and our dog. The owner and the staff are very welcoming. The room was clean and quiet, with nice furniture, and a very comfy bed. Pool is nice and cleaned daily. Location was OK for us, the Songthaew 10 Baht bus stopped locally. There are bars and restaurants nearby also very friendly and excellent menu. Very happy with this stay. Thank you for your hospitality. ??

Excellent Value
Reviewed By StaffieLancsThis is our third stay at this hotel. As a rule we normally ask to stay in the May hotel next door as those rooms are far more modern but the May hotel was closed. The room was clean, air conditioning good, bathroom equipt with good shower and toiletries. We did ask for a room with a view over the pool or the street but were given a room opposite the May hotel. I am not sure why this request could not be granted because there was not many guests in the hotel. On arrival there were certain issues. The safe did not work, Wi-Fi was non existent, there were no towels in the bathroom and the card did not seem to work. All these problems were sorted out immediately and as we did check in early we cannot fault the staff. The lady on reception was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the pool at the March but it could get crowded if the hotel was full. The gym looked well stocked too. Rooms have a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee provided. Tv had a few English speaking channels and good reception. Beds are comfortable and there is a large fridge in the room. The location is just off Pattaya clang and the Soi is fairly quiet with a couple of bars etc. Last time we came there were many massage shops but presently they are closed. Further down the road is ‘Sammys’ where you can get a good breakfast/sandwiches etc. I would certainly recommend for a short stay as it is excellent value for money.

Slow decline from former grace
Reviewed By aramoluapI like this small boutique hotel. It is more motel than hotel in term of facilities. There is no on site dining or drinking. The old rooms do have a sink, microwave, fridge and kettle so breakfast with coffee is manageable. The staff are friendly and for the most part obliging with small special requests. Over the past 5 years I've seen a steady decline in the quality and quantity of day to day maintenance of the property. Once it was a common sight to see small jobs being performed around the complex however during my last 2 visits the number of minor items requiring attention was obviously increasing. The focus seems to have shifted to building new rooms rather than refitting the existing ones. Despite the above I will probably stay in the Double D again. The quiet location and easy accessibility to central Pattaya; assuming you have your own transport; are compelling attractions.

Reviewed By Babysamolthe room is cozy and the bed is very comfortable nice view. The room decorations are very nice with orange color. The breakfast is very tasty with the choice of american breakfast or thai food. the cafe next door is very beautiful. the hotel service is very poor but it’s ok if compared with the room rate.

Reviewed By samanddean01more like a hostel for young kids,disgusting showers had too keep on asking for extra toilet paper also no good for food thats of cause if u want too wait for a couple of hippies too make it for u,don,t advise too go in the pool if u want too call it a pool stinking mun,only 2 sun loungers lol but be quick if u want too lay there i would,nt advise too take your partners here that,s for sure not a very happy place its sad and depressing ,mmm staff was ok not too sure if they were local or staff some of them,make sure if anyone wants too stay here get the back room entirely up to u but be advised not too oh another thing watch the cockroaches don,t get u first

Amazing view.. professional, caring staff
Reviewed By Grover WOne bedroom suite with a balcony, a bath with a tub, a huge living room, and TWO Air Conditioners!!!! Good location on Soi 9, less than one block from the beach... A really good American restaurant no more than a minutes walk toward the beach on the left side of the street. I watched this place being built, and I'm delighted to have spent ten excellent days there!!!!!

The baby facilities at swimming pool are old and without maintenance, some are not working and one of the slide is broken so dangerous for the children to be used
