Although the restaurant is somewhat lacking on ambiance inside, the food here does more than make up for it! The maki rolls are always amazing and we both love the miso soup. We have never had a bad experience here. We often order out and the rolls are always SO fresh when we pick them up.

Last night my husband and I decided to order Chinese food, as we had some company over. The food was disgusting. No flavour, chicken wasn't cooked and their was hair in the chicken balls. NEVER Will we order from there again.
I didn't even try it. May have been a fluke, it does happen but I just couldn't get over it, there was a hair in my food. I would have returned it but this was at Christmas time and the line up was too long.
Next time your in North Bay order China town for take out. No area to eat in but just take out. Great taste and fast delivery. Great owners and all around food.

It's regrettable to give a bad review of a restaurant. The owners are trying to make a go of it and it's unfortunate that they are serving the food that they are. We tried this place for the first time today and the food was some of the worst Chinese food that we've ever had.The one saving grace of this establishment is the young woman who served as order taker and cashier. She was very pleasant and tried to be as helpful as possible. We ordered sweet & sour chicken balls, lemon chicken, vegetable and chicken fried rice as well as some spring rolls and beef low mein. Don't even think about asking for no MSG. All of the food has MSG without exception*.We were expecting vegetable spring rolls and ended up with oddly shaped shrimp spring rolls. The fried rice did not seem to have been fried and the vegetables in the rice looked like they were old. The chicken balls were larger than we typically get. But, they were mostly dough. The sweet and sour sauce was different (not better) than what we had before.*Basically everything tasted the same and it didn't taste good. It tasted like it had been cooked ahead of time and reheated for our order. That's probably why they won't hold the MSG on anything. There was no soya sauce, no plum sauce and no fortune cookies.Of the places we have tried in North Bay, a better alternative is Golden China, which is almost across the street.

We have been to Tandoori Plus numerous times. Usually we have take-out but we have also dined in a couple of times. The restaurant looks relatively plain, but the food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I particularly recommend the Saturday buffet. There are lots of options and, since you can return to the buffet table as often as you wish, you will not go away hungry.Once we ordered our food to take out. When we got home, a spring roll was missing. We didn't worry about it, but when I went back about two or three months later, I didn't say anything about the previous error but the owner quickly came to meet me and apologize for the missing item. He remembered after two or three months and included an extra spring roll to make up for it.Amazing!

I had never been to George's and a lot of people have been suggesting to go. (I feel more comfortable with the same Chinese place I've been going to for years) this is by far the best take out Chinese food restaurant in north bay! They have general tao chicken, but it is something that isn't on the menu so you have to ask for it! Great delicious meals and very generous portions! Ordered a meal of 3 for some very hungry people and there were plenty of left overs! The prices are also very competitive with those in town! When I went to pick up my order I had too many bags to carry at once so the young man behind the counter helped me take them to my car! I now have a favorite Chinese food place!!!

We were looking for a new Chinese restaurant because our favorite closed. This place has been around for yrs but had new owners. Good is great and prices even better. Great dim sum also only on wknds set times. Would recommend this for 2 people or large dinner party. We go here about 3 times per month for lunch or dinner. Great new owners also and they've fixed it up inside. Not fancy but very comfortable.

My favourite dish is Szechuan beef, so I order it at any Chinese restaurant if it is on the menu. I paid $13 (no rice) for a takeaway. The portion was Huge, great value for money. It also is the best Szechuan sauce I have tried outside of a specialised Szechuan restaurant. On a side note, the interior did seem quite dated as some reviews point out, but the food was plentiful, and very tasty so I will be back!

Chinese Buffet and Menu order sit down or take out restaurant for family.
It was our first time at this restaurant. It has a limited selection but great tasting food. Desert options could be improved. We will return.
