Well we have now decided it is not worth taking our little ones here especially with the price increase that has occurred. They do not eat enough for it to be worthwhile now. Other than that the food was good and the buffet could use some improvements. I would like to see a self ordering system. But the staff as always was pleasant. My only issue is that they donât seem to want to take away empty/dirty plates. This has been an ongoing thing with this location.

First off this is based on paying a total of $9 for 2 lunch deals..1 - Chicken fried rice and S&S chicken balls with a pop2 - Chicken Fried rice with Almond Soo Guy and a pop...It was more then enough food, it was hot and it was better then expected for 12:30 on a Sunday..I will say its on the same quality level as a CANTON or another budget joint..Nanking aint what it used to be...Its a small takeout place now, it was clean....Not like I remember the old Nanking, so that is a plus..If you want a full highend meal go to Oriental - But if you want a quick lunch this is very good for the price...FOR THE PRICE!

We used to come here for lunch and it was fabulous. Recently, we visited Beijing on a Tuesday evening (around 6 pm). Pretty much empty. First thing I noticed was that the carpeted floor was dirty and disgusting. We enjoyed the filet mignon dish but our Dinner for One entrees were just average. My husband's breaded shrimp tasted like it was around for awhile and just warmed up in the deep fryer. There was far too much rice on the plates as well. We really enjoyed the spring rolls, however, we like them with plum sauce and was disappointed at how watery the plum sauce was at the table. Should have asked for packets of plum sauce! My husband's plate arrived way ahead of mine. I had to wait and watch him eat! Not sure if we will be returning.

We seem to go there with the grandkids every time we come to Brantford. They offer a great variety of delicious food at an affordable price. Plus the grandkids love it as they can get their own things to eat and try everything including making their own waffles. And I like the beer at a cheap price for a restaurant.

When i went to get my take out order and questioned the price i really was not impressed with the girl screaming back towards the kitchen in Chinese asking the owner about accepting the lower price.Of course everyone turned to see who the fuss was all about How crass can a business be.They lost the sale of $43 over charging $2.60 extra for not changing the internet prices at the same time as they got new HIGHER PRICED menus Went to Beijing Restaurant and got the same order for $33. TEN dollars less.[See my review on Beijing ]This says a lot about the Free item you get for sales over $30 I know now we have been duped the last several times we bought their food.Looks like it isn't free after allWill not return ever again SO SORRY!

We decided to try Nine North based on reviews and we were not disappointed. We both had soup and shared shrimp fresh rolls. Everything was fresh and had amazing flavour. My soup was enough for two meals. The price was very reasonable based on quality and quantity. Friendly staff as well. We will definitely go back!!!!

I ordered the combination plate made up of chicken rice, egg rolls, chicken balls and Gen Tso chicken. I must say the food was fresh and delicious and was quite a big portion. The restaurant itself needs a lot of sprucing up. There are lots of boxes piled one on top of another behind the cashierâs counter. There were two kids studying in the corner and one gave me a menu and took my order. I asked if I could have a glass of tap water but he said they donât have it and offered bottled water instead but I said it was okay. The other boy came a few minutes into the meal and asked if everything was okay. Quite polite kids but I think optics would be better if they hired a hostess/server instead of making the kids work.

This is by far the best place to collect your Chinese food in Brantford. Excellent moo shu pork. Great lunch specials! Clean restaurant and friendly staff. I dropped 10 dollars while wiring for my order and one of the staff grabbed it and gave it to me. I will be back!
