We went for a family dinner, for my daughterâs birthday. Everything was good as expected. The Peking Duck is still our favorite in Bangkok. The lychee flavor really adds a special touch, very unique. Couldnât help but notice another recent reviewer complain about the Club Marriott card. We didnât have any problem here but yes the program is getting more and more complicated for both customers and restaurant staff to follow! Very often we are having to spend quite a bit of time engaging in discussion about whatâs what either on the phone or whilst we are dining as there are so many different rules and exceptions. I do feel a simplification is in order, Iâve been a member for more than 10 years and it just keeps becoming more complicated. I especially donât understand why we canât get Marriott Bonvoy points for our total spend after discounts? Iâm a gold level on Marriott Bonvoy. Dear kovitss1965,thank you for taking the time to review Fei Ya restaurant.I am glad to know that you chose our restaurant for your daughter's birthday and that you had a great time, enjoying our signature Peking Duck.I completely understand and sympathize which your comments on the Club Marriott benefits. In the past, our menu offering had some exceptions. We are currently in the process of removing these to make everything more guest friendly and clear. For the rest, we simply follow the terms and conditions as per Club Marriott which are pretty standard.I can shed a bit of light on why we cannot offer points whilst using Club Marriott discount. Both programs are run by separate companies, who we as a hotel company need to pay fees. It is related to this we cannot combine the usage of programs. Simply put, since both our programs are quite generous and beneficial to our guests, if such benefits (Club Marriott discount) and Marriott Bonvoy points gets combined, we would give a double benefit and our costs would be too high. Therefore, guests have to chose which program gives them the best benefit but it cannot be used in conjunction.I hope the above helps. Today, I have decided to spend my lunch time at cafe@2, conrad hotel, located in Bangkok with friends... Normally I come to have lunch mostly at Liu chinese dim sum restaurant here. But I changed my mind to have lunch at cafe@2 in stead for today due to the interested promotion of having boston lobster and various crabs with a new pricewhich quite high.... The quality and the taste of the foods especially grilled seafood is my most favourite for this lunch.... because of their freshness very tasty after grilled... Fried seafoods with high quality of raw materials such as Mussels, scallops, shrimps with oyster sauce and black pepper is the best dish that I would like to recommend.... Only one thing that I am not satisfied for this lunch meal is that, with this higher new price, there was no drink or at least pain water included. Just want to inform the manager of this restaurant to add up at least plain water without charged.... I always having lunch time with friends in many five stars hotels around Bangkok city, but never paid for plain water.... Some also prepare the press fresh fruit juice for customers without charged. The paid of plain water with a higher cost of buffet lunch feels very unsatify for me and friends for this lunch here....Dear adisswet,Thank you for dining with us at Cafe@2. We were around there for some reason..and we wanted to have Dimsum..we found here.....Loong Foong...Beautiful restaurant ...food amazing..And service was super great..we met Tipyarat (Jo) and Wimolrat(paeng) these two ladies were super nice ..kept asking us ..need any food more qith smiling face..so made our lunch turned to be great...food great ..service great ..that is important...

Dont let the restaurants hole in the wall appearance fool you. Look past the appearances. Ignore their amateur staff. Go for the taste...it is authentic. Their black dal or dal makhni is just like a road side dhaba in India's Punjab. Their Tandoori chicken tastes like it has been marinated in Punjab and served in Bangkok.The line of Line and Grab messengers taking takeaway says it all.Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us.
