We stayed three nights here with our two boys (9,11) and even though we trained to a new city every day, the boys insisted we "get home to eat dinner with Gianmarco". The food and the atmosphere were awesome. Never went hungry :) We ate breakfast there every morning as well - homemade every day and fresh. The boys are already asking to go back next year!You really have wonderful children, dear friends!It was a pleasure for us to accoodate you and prepare dinner for your family, and we're habby when we see our guests smiling and relaxing!If you come again to Tuscany, you're welcome!

Great place! As Americans unfamiliar with local customs, I think we showed up a little too early. However, The staff was very friendly and accommodated us immediately. The setting out on the hilltop is beautiful and the pizza was excellent. I recommend this place very highly.

We visited La Vinsantaia di Capezzana last month while on our Vineyard and Villa's tour. WOW...we were so impressed with the whole estate, but especially the views. We started by having an amazing lunch outside on their patio with the best views ever of Tuscany's hills. Our meal started with a simple salad and of course, a glass of wine. Then we had a pasta dish with tomatoes & pesto sauce and more wine. Then we ended with a huge platter of different cheeses and smoked meats and olives and more wine. After our meal, we toured to a building where they dried their sweet grapes for their Vinsinto 2008 ...very much similar to our desert wines back here in Canada! Then we went underground & toured their wine collection dating back to 1925. Truly amazing and we also were shown the room they blocked off during World War 2 to hide their wine and works of art from the Nazi's. After this we went back up and toured the room where they press their olives for Extra Virgin Olive Oil...very expensive equipment is used in this procedure! This indeed was an amazing place to visit and we got some pretty amazing pictures to help us remember our time here for years to come!

After our 3rd dinner here, we can now say that this is the best restaurant we have done in Italy. Not only is the cuisine succulent with high quality local ingredients, also the service is as personal as it comes. Lionel, Jean-paolo, Elvis and the other staff do a great job and everything with a personal smile.

We were received by a very friendly waiter who made place for us even though fully booked. We had chicken liver pate, stuffed zucchini, braised veal cutlets and beef sirloin strips. Everything was prepared very well, tasted wonderfully and we came away stuffed and well satisfied. Payment was a little strange as I had to go to the back of the restaurant where the owner made a show of counting my money in public, which I found a bit weird. Food and service were first class though!

We stayed in 2011 at the Hotel in Carmignano for two nightsa, and were recommended to eat dinner here.It was probably the best dinner we had in Italy so far, and we have been around in the country :-)It was authentic italian country meal, no fancy stuff, no unnecessary stuff on the plate.We had antipasta, rabbit and ice bottle of wine, and it was less than 45 euro for two.But, the best part is simply how well prepared the food was, so tender, so tasty it was like being sent straight to heaven, I can only recommand this restaurant if you ever pass Carmignano or if you are in Firenze...do yourself the honor and go here, you wont regret.We are coming back, that is for sure.

Excellent location, next to the town square. We visited twice and tried the black rice with chicken and all three variations of the sirloin beef cuts. We were happy every time with the food as well as the friendly staff. Tiramisu was a bit of a mistake, too sugary. Prices manageable, not cheap, not stupendous. Nice place.

Lovely setting for a most delicious dinner. Classic and yet inventive Tuscan cuisine featuring local products and wines. Attentive knowledgable staff who take wonderful care of you without being obtrusive. We totally enjoyed our meal.

We enjoyed a lovely late summer dinner on the patio, with excellent food and wine. Although the menu was in Italian our waiter was able to help sufficiently with translations, and service was very professional. We had to try the regional specialty, bistecca alla Fiorentina, which is a huge portion for two (we took home leftovers). Prepared very rare, it was delicious although I usually prefer a leaner cut.
