Was there with my family. They have great food choices, ordered JD steak, Spinach Dip, Chicken parmesan sandwich & Flatbread. The chocolate waffle was fantastic at the end to share. Great service, this place have become much better compared to past.

I went there on a Friday night. There was a 45 minute weight so we sat at the bar. One of the servers had ash tray breath. GROSS!!! We ended up getting seated in 20 minutes, which was good. It was soooo dark in there. I kind of like to see my food when I'm eating it. I had to use the flashlight from my smartphone to read the menu. The food was okay. Although there was very little green onion on the top of the nachos, I wish they added diced onions to it to up the flavour because they were kind of bland. The crispy cauliflower bites were amazing!!! You must try those. Do NOT bother with the apple crisp. It was lukewarm in the middle and the top was burnt- I had to send it back. As for the noise, there was a live band in the restaurants- why? It was already busy and the atmosphere was already poppin. I could NOT hear my friends so we left. I noticed that the place started to empty out because no one could hear their mates. I would reconsider this choice if I were the management. Sabrina was a great server. The service was really good.

Decided to go to jack astors on Saturday and watch the hockey game and grab some pub food. The food was good and the service was very good. Televisions everywhere and there is not a bad seat in the house. We had a great time and the crowd of people was really a great mix.

I've been here many times - it is excellent. If you go at lunch, the restaurant is packed with customers. The number of customers is a testament to the quality of food. The Chicken Wrap with rapini, zucchini and pepper and house salad are fantastic - A definative "must". This is not your typical wrap - it is much better. If you haven't been here and you are in the area - make the time to have lunch here. You won't be disappointed.

We went there for my wife's birthday on May 18th. We have 3 children, 9, 5, 8 month old. Atmosphere was great. My two older kids enjoyed the kids menu. Our choice of meat was exquisite and tasteful. Everyone had a great time. Service was amazing and friendly. We were able to bring our won birthday cake which they served. Honestly, it was a great experience. Lets get things set straight, the food at this place is great no complaining about the food. The pizza was flavourful and had an abundance of cheese. The caesar salad has good proportions of dressing to lettuce and all the ingredients inside mad the salad taste like a party in your taste buds. However the experience at the restaurant was not as pleasant as the food itself. The waiter was slow and didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. When they brought us out salad they didn't even bring serving tongues or forks. When the pizza came they didn't give us plates to eat the food on. The service seemed very disorganized and slow in comparison to the number of people that were present in the restaurant at this time. However i do highly recommend this restaurant as the food very easily surpasses the service. It is easily one of the best wood fire pizza you can get at a more casual location in the city.

Tonight we decided to spend our anniversary dinner at the Keg. As always the food was delicious plentiful and hot. The service was excellent and the establishment has a really nice ambience. The place was almost full and it was a gorgeous evening. We sat near the open windows and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Salina was one of our servers and was very polite, friendly and efficient. She used to be a hostess and now is an excellent server.Great bay for an wonderful dinner.We usually frequent this establishment once a month and will continue to do so.Thanks for the sparkler and cake.

Casual atmosphere.The portions were good for the price. We ordered an extra portion of onion rings because we didn't know what to expect and I wish the server had mentioned that the French fry and onion ring portions were huge already so we didn't need to order extra. We couldn't even finish the ones that came with the meal. The ribs were very good. I liked the original BBQ sauce. My date liked his grilled chicken breast sandwich but it's too bad they don't have smoked chicken.The baked beans were tasty.I would go back to try the pulled pork. I wish they had more combos. I wanted to try 3 ribs and some pulled pork but they only do combos with ribs and wings.Prices were reasonable.Service was good.
