Can't find a website. The "resort" has both a restaurant and a pub. I want to review the restaurant.
We took what we could get on short notice with no prebooking! Got a tiny, dated cabin on the water with a stunning view and wonderful ocean air! AND we left a window open tol listen to the ocean at night whch was great!Welcoming, fun staff in the pub which has a limited menu.

We were staying at Castlerock and it was raining - so we decided to stay in and try Avalon for dinner. The ratings are mixed so we weren't sure what to expect. But our meal was amazingly good! I had the chicken teriyaki and my partner had the lamb. The presentation was impressive and both were cooked/seasoned perfectly. The lamb came with some sort of mashed potato pancake that was a very big hit! We also splurged on dessert as they had homemade triple berry pie and it was just so good. The place was busy - most tables were full - yet the two servers working that night did a fantastic job. It is clear that the chef can make or break a restaurant - and their current chef is excellent! Don't let the dated bad ratings keep you from trying this place!

We stopped in early to ensure a table with a view, but they don't take reservations. We were given a reasonable time to arrive in order to be assured a good table, and it worked. Perfect corner table at the windows, and we enjoyed cocktails before ordering. Two of us ordered fresh whole lobster which was perfectly cooked, and the sides were very generous. We all very much enjoyed our meals here!

Located on the picturesque beaches of Cape Breton Island we serve fresh Atlantic seafood as well Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Functioning as a restaurant as well as a B and B we are located right on the beautiful Ingonish Beach. Fully licensed, you c
Cape Breton is wild, remote, beautiful, hard to get to, and diverse. We are out in the middle of Godâs country! The food is homey, not fancy or complicated. Williams Beach House stands out above the norm here. In fact it stands out above the norm in Bar Harbor, Quebec and Boston too. This small restaurant has a powerhouse kitchen. Opened just 3 months ago and closing for the season later in October, they provide a menu that embraces the local seafood fare with welcoming service to match. The wine list is small but respectable. The ambiance is small too but one gigantic body of water glistening out the picture windows with fresh sea breezes makes up for the smaller interior. Our wish is that they return to Ignonish next May and blow the foodie scene out of the water! Make a reservation and squeeze in!

The Periwinkle Cafe is a is a welcoming and light space where one can enjoy everything from their morning cup of coffee and cinnamon roll to an afternoon glass of wine and charcuterie. Taste our fair-trade coffee, teas, specialty lemonades, locally brewed
Stopped here on our back down the Cabot Trail for breakfast and were so glad we did. So many interesting and delicious looking options made a decision quite difficult. We decided to go outside the box and ordered breakfast sandwiches with some rather interesting twists. Smoked salmon, egg, cheddar and greens on a muffin and crab, avocado, egg and greens on muffin, turned out to be two of the best things we ever tasted! Be adventurous and try them, you won't be disappointed.

More a family restaurant than speciality place; we were there on a rainy day, place not too busy. Great view of the sea and great food. We had a lobster plate and a sea food plate...both were great. Servie was also good.

We were staying at the Keltic Lodge, just a few minutes down the road. We stopped here for lunch. We shared soups, salad and a grilled chicken wrap. All was very nice. Friendly staff, simple and comfortable decor. Great spot for lunch and great coffee to go for your drive on the Cabot Trail
