Beautiful camping in brilliant scenery
Reviewed By Bert MThis camping is a rather small one on the border of a lake, just outside town. All amenities clean and well kept. Close to the site is a former iron works that is interesting to visit and which reminds you of the forlorn days of mining iron ore and making a burdensome profit out of that. The house of the factory manager oversees both the campsite and the factory.

Quiet and clean
Reviewed By Karin MNice camp site!. We spent a couple of nights here in our RV. Asked for a sunny spot and got it, it was also flat, much appreciated. Nice amenities and there is even a restaurant. The pizzas were tempting but we had already planned our dinner. Well stocked store and corona measures were everywhere. There is a nice sand beach belonging to the camping. We cycled to central Karlstad on bycycle paths, took approximately 30 minutes. Can recommend this place! We could see that there were many types of cottages for rent.

Reviewed By 240katrinkWhat a great camping! We visit every year since 2016 and still love it! Close to the beautiful lake Fryken, sandy beach, best playground for the kids, fun shopping in the reception where you can also rent sups and kayaks. The service houses are in impeccable shape and the houses we rented were all super cozy and equipped with everything necessary. This camping is run by the lovely family Henriksson, alway welcoming and helpful. There is an excellent restaurant offering really good food in a beautiful setting close to the beach. There is plenty to do in the surrounding too, the ski tunnel, hiking, water park, museums and art exhibitions, exploring the lakes nearby or going on a road trip to another little town. All in all very enjoyable!

Reviewed By martincI4305YFMysig camping med lagom mycket folk. Läget vid sjön är perfekt. Trevlig personal och fräscht servicehus finns även en bra matsal. Stora gräsytor som gör att man inte behöver trängas. Fin badplats med brygga och bra för barn. Hit kommer vi gärna igen!

Great stay
Reviewed By MrsWBNHad a great stay at Kristinehamb together with friends in one of the Brostugor. Comfortable and clean, appreciated all the amenities and tools in the kitchen. Only downside was the need for better curtains that actually kept the light out. Kids appreciated the playgrounds and mini golf, adults the location close to the city center and the Picasso statue.

Frykenbadens Camping lies beautifully by Lake Fryken's eastern beach, in an area ideally suited for taking a stroll or a jog. Here is an idea of what we offer: fishing, mini golf, billiard golf, a little petting zoo, playroom, playgrounds and a beach with jetties.

Klaralvens Camping is situated 150 km north of Karlstad, 40 km north-east of Torsby at the junction of E 45 and road 62. The campsite has 21 cottages, which 11 is open all year round, 50 pitches with electricity and several spots for tents.

Reviewed By Anke BThe services of the camping were fine (sanitary), but the camping is a near a road and bridge so you hear car traffic during the whole day. For this reason I would not recommend this camp site. Maybe the sites on the camp ground further away from the road are less noisy...?

Friendly well priced hostel
Reviewed By WildMikeSituated outside just over 1km from Torsby train station, the hostel is an ideal base for walks and during the winter, cross country skiing. The food was first class and many locals used the restaurant at lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but the bed was comfortable and the common area had a good TV and amenities such as dishwasher, kettle etc.... There are no taxis in Torsby so be prepared to walk with your luggage uphill to get there. We used the hotel at the start and end of our canoeing trip.

We are a Belgian Dutch couple and we own a small camping site in the beautiful Sweden. Here you can enjoy the peace and quite. The river Klaralven is on walking distance off 150 m and a nice beach. For the kids there is a play ground off 25m2 on the site. we also provide in lots of activities,it possible to have a day of water fun which includes waterskiing, wakeboarding and fun tubing in our own boat, also renting out fishing/tourboats, sightseeing tours, canoeing, fishing and a lot more. We have 2 stuga to rent out for 3-5 persons each, a great new familyhouse for 6-8 people.

Reviewed By BehronesWe (2 adults and 3 children) turned up very cold and wet after canoeing all day in the rain. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable, allowed us to dry out our tents in their barn and transported our belongings back down to the canoes the following day. What wonderfully kind people! The campsite has everything you need and we would love to return in the sunshine one day. Thank you Djupdalen Camping!
