Sydney is for sophisticates, with its famous opera house and annual Sculpture By the Sea outdoor art exhibits. Port Douglas makes a great base for snorkeling or diving the Great Barrier Reef, and quaint lighthouses keep vigil along the beaches of Byron Bay. Serenity by the Darling

Reviewed By Arthur K

We were greeted by an enthusiastic young man and allowed to take our pick of the remaining grassy powered sites. A good camp kitchen and excellent amenities block complemented the location close to the Darling River. A walk along the river revealed some excellent non- powered sites that could also be utilised. A communal fireplace allowed us to meet other guests and share travel experiences. In all, a great place to set up your tent, camper trailer, camper van or caravan.

Safari Glamping Tent with Bathroom

Reviewed By YTRex

First time staying in a Holiday Park. Check in was efficient and staff gave good information. Safari Glamping Tent is good value for money and spacious, with its own bathroom facilities and heater. However, light sleepers might need to contend with noise from neighbouring tents. Not an issue with us and things quieten down after 10am. We self catered and used one of the gas bbq pits in the common area. Location is good as it is a short drive to Huskisson (restaurants and cafes) and the Hyam's Beach.

Untidy and not clean Unit and Park

Reviewed By Jacinta B

We stayed in a cabin in the park. The couch was so dirty the arm rests were black and it sunk when you sat in it, hence we only sat in it once. The fire alarm wasn't connected to the ceiling in the kitchen area. The oven was in a cavity that was very in need of attention. The outside was covered in cobwebs, they need to sweep the outside of the cabins to clean away the cob webs. When you pay good money you expect to have a very clean cabin.

We arrived at Ingenia Holidays Ocean Lake via the scenic Wallaga Lake road. Check in was quick and we were given a cabin (booked a 2 bedroom Park Cabin) right in front of the lake, with a balcony for us to take in the tranquil view. Sunset was stunning and the sky was in different hues of pink! Cabin is spacious (a short flight of steps to access cabin), clean and with heater. Hotel is about 7km away from Bermagui and might be far from dining options. Staff's recommendation of Camel Rock Brewery Bar and Grill, a short 4min drive away was good.
