You enter a place looking like a pub. The atmosphere is very friendly, with games at disposal and a library decorum. The food is excellent, and I can only recommend the herring. Prices are average. The service is nice too. Definitely a place that I would recommend for central location (pedestrian street) and the value for food in a casual atmosphere.

Cafe ÐÐ»Ð¸Ð½Ð½Ð°Ñ ÐаÑлениÑа is an awesome place to stop and enjoy some blinis after strolling along the УлиÑа ÐаÑмана. The blinis are delicious and they have a large variety of fillings. They also offer small pre-made salads on the side and for a dessert you can enjoy a piece of traditional Tatar pie. Prices are extremely good, 1 large blini is around 100RUB. I warmly recommend giving them a try.

A cafe hidden in the yard at the Bauman street. It is considered as low coster, and supposed to he used by hostel stayers. Good thing it is covered to create shadow, there is open space, green, there are fans on the ceiling. So it is a shelter to have both lunch or drinks in hot summer!

This is a Kazan institution, the colourful Dom Chaya, a Tatar tea house where we had pies and salad and really enjoyed the Gubaida pie for dessert, containing cooked rice, nuts and raisins. We chose the waitress service part rather than the self-service, but it was still incredibly good value.

We visited Chak-Chak twice for lunch whilst staying in Kazan. It is a clean and cheery cafeteria operation. One grabs a tray, and makes ones way along the counters, selecting items as one goes. There are some english translations on the labels.The food is best described as 'comfort home cooking'. It is not fancy or presented with any flair. Your hot meal wil be heated in the microwave. But the serves are generous and the taste is satisfying.We enjoyed the soups (cream of mushroom and a sour beef soup), and one of the hot dishes on offer, labelled 'Chicken curry', tasted remarkably like Indonesian opar ayam!The sweets also are good, if you can stuff anthing else in after main meal.The price for all this food is vary reasonable.

Youâd think that having exact schedule of matches a good restaurant woukd be ready, well, unfortunately this one is not. Came here for breakfast st 8:30 on the match day. The places was full, waiters running around like headless chicken, forgetting orders, mixing things up, not able to communicate with the kitchen. At 10 we still did not have 60% of what we orderdd and the shift of waiters has changed. We had to chase the new shift to get what we ordered. By 11 we finally left. Food quality was OK - local pastry very good, fried eggs - nothing special, eggs benedict turned out to be almost a hardboiled egg on a couple of dry panckakes. Overall rather dissapointing

Went for lunch. Excellent service and delightful food. The salads, pasta dishes and the desserts were really, really good. Portions a bit small - perfect for lunch and on top came with an unexpected 20 percent lunch discount. Prices even without that are very reasonable. If you go there you will not regret it. thank the head of the left feedback. waiting for a visit!
