Boat trip is the best way to explore the very beautiful Atlantic coastline in Lagos - very beautiful caves and grottos reflected in transparent emerald water versus terracotta cliffs. Highly recommended as a trip - the guides are very friendly and happy to tell the story of the place

Our favourite beach around Lagos. The sea definitely felt warmer than our closest beach in Luz! We were so happy here after feeling a little cramped on other beaches. So much space, beautiful sand and the opportunity to take a lovely, long walk. Easy to park here too.

We haven´t descended to the beach, just watch it from the top of the "falesia", a great view of the clear water beach and the "falésias" formations on both sides of the beach, Definitely worthwhile seeing it.

Lagos Ciencia Viva Science Centre

The Lagos Ciência Viva Science Centre is a place for science, fun and hands-on learning. Visitors of all ages are invited to participate in activities and interactive exhibitions that show how history, science and technology cross-cross in an educational and entertaining way. Three theme areas form the core of the exhibition: Orientation and Navigation Instruments, Life on Board and Distance Communication. The permanent exhibition "From the Astrolabe to the GPS" allows visitors to make connections between discoveries of the past and of the present.

Small but still amazing and truly interactive. Staff are just so helpful and knowledgeable with perfect English and no doubt other languages. Can actually hold a variety of sea creatures. Dinosaur side exhibition has half dozen full scale animatronic beasts. Well worth a visit along with old church and square near by.

Organic wine producer located 3km from Lagos. Traditional farm with beautiful vineyards, olive and almond trees. Wine tours and tastings by appointment. Include a visit to the winery and cellar and the tasting of white, rose and red wine, paired with regional tapas. Book your visit in advance. Thank you!

Relaxed and informative tour of the vineyard, how the wine is produced and history of the place. There was a tasting of three wines with nibbles. Maria was a great host.
