The Confederation Bridge linking New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island opened in May 1997. The bridge is 8 miles long and is the longest bridge over ice covered waters. Its supports can deflect icebergs! The bridge is curved to keep you alert while driving across. It replaced the ferry service that linked the two provinces and greatly reduced crossing time--only 10 to 15 minutes. You can still have the ferry experience by using the ferry connecting PEI with Nova Scotia. You only pay toll one way--leaving PEI. Even if you decide not to cross, do stop and see this engineering marvel.

We have ridden this street car 3 times. Each time it was a fun event. Saw the beautiful colors in the river valley in the fall. Did a private function when we also did a ride in the early evening. Saw the city lights in early evening. We took out of town visitors for an afternoon ride. Lots of fun. Knowledgeable conductor as well.

About 5 minutes off the #2 Hwy this is definitely worth the stop. The bridge was built in 1921. Bridges with wooden trusses were covered until steel was used for the trusses. This is the longest covered bridge in the world. There is a gift store at the east side and a parking lot at the west side. A pedestrian walkway is attached to the bridge. Cars can only go in one direction at a time so stop and wait your turn.

Found this location On a recommendation by a friend. Took a hike through the park and went to a small Falls, returned and enjoyed a picnic near the water. Got to see some pleasure boats pass through the lift locks, which is an amazing process. Beautiful Fall day to enjoy some beautiful scenery.

Lynn Canyon Park officially opened to the public in 1912 and has been a popular destination among tourists and local residents. It is a great location for a family picnic, a leisurely hike, or a refreshing swim in one of the many popular swimming holes.Twin Falls is East of the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge and can be accessed from either side of the bridge. A short walk will take you to the Twin Falls Bridge which offers a beautiful view of a waterfall and large pool below. The park contains second growth forest with most of the trees aged approximately 80 to 100 years old. Lynn Canyon Park is the home of several beautiful hiking trails that are suitable for any hiking level. If you are looking for a leisurely stroll through the forest or a brisk climb up hill, Lynn Canyon has lots to choose from. park. A short walk will take you to the popular 30 foot pool. It is one of the most popular locations among tourists and locals. It is a very large area with great spots for a picnic and it features a beautiful swimming hole. It has an ecology centre and Lynn Canyon Park is open daily all year. During the winter months dusk falls very early. Use extreme caution and allow plenty of time to return to the park entrance before dark.
