Very large hotel room for Europe or even US standards

We bought tickets to the Bregenz festival and this location could not have been more perfect. It took us MAYBE 5 minutes to walk to the festival location. If you are looking to get to the busier shopping and cafe area, I might recommend staying somewhere farther NE, but for what we needed this was perfect. The breakfast was good quality, classic scrambled eggs with chives, lots of prociutto and cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, several bread options (the croissants ran out about an hour before the end of breakfast), bacon and a delicious breakfast sausage, cereal, etc. The breakfast was extremely busy, it could have been due to the festival goers considering a lot of people checked out after breakfast like we did. But the hotel employees did a solid job of keeping up with replenishing everything other than croissants. The room was very large as far as square footage and had very tall ceilings. We are very used to small hotels in Europe, but this might have been one of the largest rooms we've stayed in anywhere. The windows open to let fresh air in, but heads up that the blackout curtains were not truly blackout. All in all, this was a great choice and great value for us festival goers.

The Pension Schneider does not possess a passenger PLV. For your car we have a free parking in our neighbour's garage. Reviewed By PGTravelTipsThis is a brilliant hotel in a perfect location in the centre of town. It’s next door to one of the two main ski lifts in town and an Inter Sport for ski rentals. The second main ski lift is a 5 minute (or less) away. The rooms were spacious, very clean, lots of storage room, comfortable beds and a really modern bathroom. I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriott brand hotels and this one easily matches the higher end brands. The staff in this family run hotel are so friendly and each morning put on a great breakfast buffet with a selection of cocked eggs. Lovely selection of food and coffee. The owners were so helpful and nothing was too much for them. There is also a spa area in the hotel with Steam Room, Sauna, Foot Spa and Relax room. All this and breakfast is included in the price. There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel too. If you are planning a trip to Lech, I would 100% recommend this hotel to stay in. There is no bar or evening restaurant at the hotel, but it is in the centre of town so plenty nearby. I recommend you book evening meals in advance of your stay as the best local restaurants can get busy. This hotel is excellent value in an expensive resort. Nur 5 Kilometer von der Autobahnabfahrt mit guter Anbindung an alle großen Schigebiete in Vorarlberg.

Eight days of walks in the woods or up in the mountains, enjoying perfect weather of blue skies and spring in full bloom. Your hotel, a real jewel, served as our home as we had it all to ourselves - the beautiful and colorful garden, the comfortable rooms decorated in good taste, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the terrace overlooking the Swiss Alps with spectacular sunsets, and the enormous dining room and kitchen - enabled both family gatherings and private moments. The kitchen was very well equipped, and your Weber barbecue was in good use too :-). Thank you so much for the warm hospitality. Your advice regarding worthwhile walks along your genuine hospitality to make sure we are pleased were fundamental to an unforgettable family vacation. Hotel Bergvilla is a perfect destination in every aspect, and we warmly recommend it.

The owner is very friendly, helpful, booked us a restaurant for the dinner. The breakfast is here just a top - better in five stars hotels - everything organic and regional food. Definitely will come back and definitely recommended!

Huge room, average breakfast, great location
Reviewed By George HThe Elisabeth is really well placed for three ski facilities - Diemdams, Damuls-Mellau and Shrocken-Warth (which connects to Lech). The cable car to Diedamkopf is 200m away, whilst the otehr two are about 15 mins drive. The hotel parking is large and free, but outdoors, so make sure you have de-icer and a scraper in winter (otherwise your departure may be delayed). The room was huge, the bathroom small, and breakfast average. Very good value, and friendly staff. Everything clean and functional, and there is a spa / sauna.

Reviewed By FlopFThe apartments are nice and spacious and very clean. Also the staff is really friendly. It’s next to the ski lifts and surrounded by a number of restaurants. I can imagine this to also be a great place in winter time when skiing. As it’s close to lifts and bus stop.

Reviewed By Bert WWe stayed at the Auhof to prepare for our Hüttenwanderung. The owner of the hotel is a very friendly and caring host, she gave us a warm welcome. But the best part is the evening dinner in the hotel. Gutbürgerlich, very tasty and high quality food. That all for an amazing price! We definitively will come back.

Awesome location, ok hotel

Hotel itself is worthwhile staying in summer (expect its much better in winter though), even though its right next to the road. There were very few people when we stayed. Rooms are ok. Well decorated and cozy although layout on the top floor is not the best. Bathroom rather small and 1/2 was under eaves which made using shower a bit awkward. Common areas, restaurant and seating outside rather nice, plus they had table tennis and kids bikes. Restaurant was closed in the evening, morning bfast was sub par even for a vegetarian place. Overall not bad. Nearly 4*, but we stayed in many better similar places in Austria and South Germany so had to give it 3* this time.
