We couldn’t be any happier with the experience we had. The staff were excellent and super friendly. The hotel is in a great location, minutes away to the Plaza Mayor. Next time I come to Villa de Leyva, this is the only place I am going to stay. Thank you Ximena, Alvaro and the entire staff for making our stay unforgettable.

If so, then Casa Hotel San Pedro is for you! Mrs. Clemencia and Mrs. Martha will give you a warm welcome and spoil you with a delicious breakfast and lots of great advises what you can do around Villa de Leyva They ensure that your stay is most enjoyable. We just love this place and will return as we could not complete everything on our bucket list :-) NB: in case you love Italian food, we recommend the restaurant "San Pedro" in Villa de Leyva. The fettuccine are delicious!

Free taxi on arrival (Villa de Leyva's Bus terminal to the Hostel. With a 5.000m2 area, beautiful and extensive gardens, social areas full of hammocks and total tranquility. Fire places and bonfire area, peaceful places and ecological trails. Kitchen (free coffee & tea) pizza oven, BBQ, bio-pool, TV room and board games, restaurant (breakfast & dinner), caravan park and more!!!
Nice spot close to nature, but far away from town and misleading business
Reviewed By Amandas77777It’s a nice spot in nature with a garden, about 15 minutes away from a short hike. However, all the cons outweigh this pro. It is about a 30-minute hike up hill every time you return from the city center. The kitchen and fridge look like they have never been cleaned in their lifetime and the rooms look nothing like the pictures. On top of everything they try to charge you for just about everything that is normally included in a hostel, presented in the most confusing bill ever (this is a typical trick in Colombia, I have noticed: make the bill so confusing that guests give up trying to understand them and just pay). All in all it was a quite misleading experience and I would not stay here again.

Oldie but goodie

Located directly on the main attraction which is the plaza mayor of Villa de Leyva, it's set a little further back so that you actually feel pretty peaceful inside, despite whatever that may be going on in the plaza. There's also a bar upstairs that you can't even hear. Definitely older place but decently kept up. Only a few minor issues like few electric outlets, and slow wifi, but those are modern amenities that you could probably make do with for a night or two. Beds were moderately hard, and rather comfortable. Shower had good pressure and good temperature not running hot or cold like many older places do. Guy who runs the place is a nice guy and speaks decent English. Or practice your Spanish with him. Good option for Villa de Leyva.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains from our window and amazing mountains surrounding us. The hotel is beautiful as well with lots of tiny details and rustic decorations. Perfectly located in a quiet street walking distance tu everywhere. Lorena is an amazing host and she takes care of everything and makes sure you have everything you need while following strict COVID guidelines. Everybody is very serious about the protocols. The only downside and that is why I don’t give them 5 stars is that I made a reservation by Expedia for a triple room with two beds and some lady in charge of the booking was insisting that our room was one with just one bed. So bring your reservation with the photo you paid for to be on the safe side

An hotel with great charme and very confortable
Reviewed By paolat725The hotel is very nice and confortable, built in the typical colonial style. Rooms are spacious with elegant furniture, they look to an internal garden very quiet. There is a great swimming pool, brand new, perfectly clean. The breakfast was excellent and we also had a delicious dinner organized for the family. The atmosphere of the hotel is familiar and cared for as the owner, Mrs Marelvy, organizes everything with great professionalism and passion.

A beautiful room, good location, but noisy

The room has a balcony with a view, a bar fridge, a comfortable king-sized bed, a table and three chairs, a flat-screen TV (that we didn't use), and a nice bathroom. There's also potable water out of the faucet. Good location: close to Plaza Mayor, restaurants, groceries (and cervezas), etc. They have complimentary coffee, fruit, and water in the lobby. The breakfasts are also tasty: we have a choice of fruit juice or fresh fruit, eggs done as we like, buns with butter and jam, and coffee or hot chocolate. A lovely hotel, and our room is facing the street, and hence is very noisy. We sleep with ear-plugs so the noise doesn't bother us as much as it would some others. When we checked in, we did look at some other rooms, and some of the back rooms are small and with little natural light.There's no elevator. Staff will help with luggage, but for people with mobility challenges this could be a problem.
