Reviewed By Z2121FDjohnvSao Mai Hotel is run by Vu and he is a perfect host. He apped us about getting to the hotel (which is possible mainly by motorbike-taxi. Once you arrive, it's an easygoing and clean place to be, good beds, ac, cold beer and good local food from the open,clean kitchen. You can use bikes for free to get to the buzzing market, the pagodas and the ancient houses. Vu can also help you with bustickets and the like. It's a great way to get to know the Mekong Delta-way of life!

Reviewed By Nguyet NWe only wanted to stay for 3 nights but the staff were very helpful and accommodating, we felt at home so we stayed extra 10 days and we are really glad we did. The hotel is clean and modern, with a comfortable bed, air condition worked perfectly in our room. We felt safer with security cameras and a nice neighborhood. Location is excellent, we can easily find good restaurants nearby the hotel. The hotel prices was great and we can not thank you enough for the laundry service that they provided during our stay.

Blood stains in bed
Reviewed By supertopherOk, it is a one stat hotel, so you don't expect much. The windowless room offered a smell mixture of mold and old cigarette smoke. The faucet was covered in (layers) of old used toothpaste. But the worst were the blood (among other) stains on the pillow and sheets. After asking the stuff to change the sheets they only flipped the pillow around. We asked a second time and got a "fresh" pillow from another room. It is very cheap though, so if you're fine with the above you'll have an affordable accommodation.

Reviewed By eileent3821It is located in a district 7 - walking distant to Vivo City, a 5-minute drive by GRAB to Crescent Mall and Lotte Mart. It's surrounded by a lot of local and foreign restaurants, cafes and small shopping places and massage areas within Phu My Hung District 7. Not impressed with the Sales Staff Sally Huynh and will not do business with them again. Hotel was nice but then there are plenty of hotels to choose from.

Reviewed By Lynley HVery good value for money and a good choice if you want to explore a bit of the Mekong Delta. The hotel is close enough to get to the river* easily, and far enough away to be quiet, plus back from the road in a nice garden setting. The rooms were clean and tidy and had everything needed. The Vietnamese food in the restaurant was good too. *While we didn't get a full floating market experience, we did enjoy our boat trip on the Mekong. Worth doing.
