We booked the superior double and asked for a ground floor room (104). The most relaxing & quiet atmosphere to say it’s in the middle of pap street. The room & bathroom for us felt a little claustrophobic and wished we had booked the larger room so will do this when we return. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable guys. We will be back.

These rooms are perfect for being away with children as they’re huge, ours had two floors and two bedrooms which meant we could put our daughter to bed and enjoy an evening together without disturbing her. The staff were amazing and really made a fuss of our little girl which she loved, particularly Angelica and the lady who cleaned who would shout hello or goodbye out of the windows when she saw her! The rooms were very clean and the pool area is lovely on a rooftop with comfortable double beds. If I had any feedback, it would be regarding breakfast. It is delivered to the room at a time you choose. It was the same every day and So much was delivered that it felt quite wasteful as we barely touched it. We all agreed we would prefer either a buffet or perhaps to choose from a card about what you’d like to cut down on the wastage. The steps are very steep to get to the hotel as it’s on a hill. It kept me fit and I had no issues but I’m in my 30s, our parents did struggle from time to time. The location is perfect, 5 minutes to hundreds of choices of bars, shops and restaurants! Loved watching the planes landing and taking off, the noise was fine as the shutters blocked it out.

I’m a quiet spots off the main road, beautiful pool/bar/gardens all kept to an extremely high standard. Suitable for families of babies/toddlers as it was a nice shallow pool- not really for school age imo as there’s mainly a chilled relaxed vibe. Make sure you have god flip flops for around the pool as the tiles get v hot amd sloppy when wet. Toilets and showers conveniently nearby. Food from Oregano was excellent. We had breakfast- great choices inc a lovely yoghurt/fruit option. Bar snacks during the day- lovely pizza. And great home cooked, traditional food in an evening. Staff all friendly - George- the barman is a great dancer!? Nice chilled music during the day. George & Anna were great hosts. We were a group of 8 attending a family wedding. George saved the day when we woke up to a power cut, all across Trulos ? for the 5 hours when we were to get ready for the wedding! ? George got a generator & ran cables in the courtyard so we could iron shirts, curl hair & have (cold) showers! (In 30 degrees that wasn’t so bad). God knows what we’d have done without him!???? We were in a top floor room in block 3, they were large with new comfy beds. Due for refurbishment, but we have no complaints. The maids did a brilliant job each day- leaving rooms immaculate with new towels and linen more often than we perhaps needed! (The only feedback I gave was to add a couple of coat hooks, a full length mirror and some shelving for storage. Anna assured me this would be addressed). Aircon was €60 for 2weeks and as it was unusually hot for May, we found this essential. It was really useful to be able to use the brand new showers on our last day, as we’re had a late flight- no need for late checkouts and sharing rooms. Also, thanks to George for liaising with the Jet2 rep for us when there was a mix-up with our private transfer pick-up. He was very helpful and calm when we were all getting rather jittery about missing flights! (Which we didn’t and it was all sorted.) Thanks Almira team for a great holiday.

Reviewed By nicola_d_118888We stayed in the 3 bedroom family bungalow. It was amazing. Fantastic air con, 2 bathrooms, 2 superking beds plus 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The kitchen had everything we needed (apart from washing up stuff). Huge tv on the wall (no English channels) plus a TV in each of the 3 bedrooms. Grrat free WiFi. Very comfy beds. Abso tonnes of wardrobe and storage space. Spotlessly clean. Very modern. Powerful hot showers. There are only around 8 bungalows so very quiet and had a lovely relaxing feel to it. The gardens are beautiful with lovely flowers and fruit trees. The pool had a shallow kids pool next to the main pool which was quite deep. Enough sunbeds for the very few guests and entry of umbrellas. Parking was available for upto 4 cars. The pool was open 9am - 8pm. The "pension" (guesthouse) is along a little quiet side road with 2 very good restaurants next door. The supermarket (with cash machine) is less than 2 mins walk. Beach can be reached in 5 mins on foot. The number 16 bus stop is 1 min away. The free breakfast is decent. Cereals, fruit, cakes, Greek salad, cold ham and cheese, breads, hard boiled eggs, (cold) bacon and sausage (we warmed in microwave in our room), jams, yoghurt, tea coffee and fruit juices. There was only one member of staff present during our stay, she was very helpful and could be found by the pool each day. Cleaner attended daily.

We do not have a restaurant but we do serve light snacks all day, which can be served in your room if requested.Tuesday nights we have a B-B-Q......which is 13.50 euros per person to include a small beer/wine or a soft drink. Drought beer and cider....wines....spirits...cocktails available.English speaking bar staff.Lovely pool area and children's paddling pool with free sunbeds.....

Reviewed By julie_alexandra123Such a shame, our only bad experience of the whole week. The island is gorgeous, location here great and waitresses lovely. Unfortunately the owner of the taverner on the beach clearly missed all her customer service training. The waitresses albeit lovely were not v attentive and I had to order extra drinks from the bar. When I went to pay I was given a bill minus our food. When I informed the owner she rolled her eyes like I had made the mistake!! I then went to pay by card. She snapped the card out of my hand and made it look like she was putting through a contact payment. She handed me my receipt then barked at me I hadn’t entered my pin. By this stage I’d had enough of her rudeness and told her she needed to chill out a bit & she hadn’t asked for my pin! She then mocked me & said, oh but I did. When I reminded her she had got the bill wrong in the first place, she hen accused me of having moved tables!! (Which we hadn’t!) and do she continued to argue with me much to my amusement! If you want a Basil Faulty experience, this is the place for you. Rudest woman I have ever come across. Such a same. Food was bland and over priced just to add insult to injury. I would avoid this place at all costs!!

It is a family business that consists of 10 bedrooms in a quiet place in the heart of Skiathos, just four minutes walk from the main street (Papadiamantis) 6 minutes from the port and 5 minutes from the bus stop to the beaches also within walking distance supermarket for shopping creperies, fast food and internet cafe as well as a wonderful restaurant (Asprolithos) and all of them just within 4-5 minute by foot.The nearest beach is 450 meters away from our building. Our rooms are equipped with refrigerators, kitchens, A / C, TV, also each of them has its own private balcony. In addition to our building is a wonderful green garden and a large patio with tables and chairs. Finally i would like to inform you that our lodging maintain every year and renovated everything necessary. We are waiting to welcome you and help you in anything you need so you have beautiful moments and memories from your vacation in the island of Skiathos.

Reviewed By Maxygio878787We spent one weeke in this pension. The room was with basic facilities but pretty spacious and clean. We also had a small balcony. The staff was nice especially Eleni who was always smiling and welcoming well the customers. Location was also 5 mins on foot from the centre. Recommended.

Reviewed By MusikmanagerWir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt, alles war so wie wir uns das gewünscht haben. Tolles Frühstück in der Bar am Pool, nie zu voll (ok lag vll. an der Vorsaison) und wirklich absolut freundliche und offene Mitarbeiter/innen. Nochmals Danke an die Dame vom Management, (Name?,sorry) top Job. Das lädt dazu ein, wieder zu kommen. Nur zum empfehlen!!!
