The idea of sitting around a swimming pool seemed odd but when we got there we were pleasantly surprised- perfect setting, nicely lit, creating a rather classy vibe. Waiters all very attentive and helpful, particularly helping us on wine choices. Food was all very tasty and plentiful. There was also a nice choice of complimentary after-dinner drinks which was a nice touch as was the additional dessert they brought for my wife and I along with those our daughters had ordered. Wouldn't hesitate to return on a future holiday to Skiathos.

Ate at the final step last night and had a fabulous meal. Pam made us feel very welcome and the setting is great. Views over the harbour, across to Skopelos. We both agreed this was our best meal this holiday. I had Seafood cocktail, sea bass and Pam goes bananas for my dessert. Partner had pate, stuffed chicken breast, lemon tart. We also had half karate white wine. Cost 73 euros, not the cheapest meal but certainly divine. Ideal place for a special occasion.

The best aspect of Agnadio for me was the spectacular views of the bay, the airport landing strip and other beautiful parts of Skiathos. The food was good although perhaps presented a little pretentiously for what it was (sorry!) and the staff were very helpful and polite. We visited this restaurant on our first night in Skiathos as we staying really very closeby, and we were not disappointed! A lovely, relaxing evening out on the hillside!

Unfortunately we only visited this restaurant once during our stay towards the end of the holiday. If we had gone at the start we would have most definitely gone back.
The only downside is the vegetarian choice for the main course is limited to one dish, however, after enquiring as to whether they could do anything else they were very obliging.
We started with tsatsiki, unfortunately this came with bread as they did not serve pitta. It was nice but we could have done without it as they served olives & 2 dips as an entree. I had a pasta dish with mushrooms in a tomato sauce (not on the menu) and the husband opted for pork steak with caramelised apples. He also selected two sides; potato wedges & mixed veg. Both were presented well and hit the spot. The husband declaring his was the best meal he had had all holiday. I couldn't eat any more but not to be 'rude' my sweet toothed husband selected a cheesecake with a forest fruit coulis. It looked delicious & he said it was very light & scrumptious.
All in all a good relaxing experience, which I would recommend, however, be carful if you are on a budget as it was the most expensive meal we had.

We had breakfast here on 3 occasions, the best English breakfast with toast, juice and tea for €6.50, excellent value and all really good.....dinner in the evening though was very disappointing after we’d read good things about this place. The breaded mushrooms were very dry with no juice or sauce, we asked for some mayo which made them edible. I fancied a curry but the chicken tikka was bland, tasteless and devoid of any spice, very disappointing. Husband’s spaghetti bolognase was also bland.
The complimentary dessert was nice but the meals were a let down after such a great breakfast here.

Service amazing. Great location and food just delicious.
Always have a great choice on the menu with a quirky twist on the greek favorites.
Worth the scenic walk down the hill to visit. Recommend you book as gets busy.

Ate there twice as stayed at a nearby hotel, great service and menu. They were happy to do a half portion of some items for children. Johnny was always very accommodating and welcoming, food was fantastic, can reccomend the ribs, mousacca and the meatballs! Always a very good portion served. Was always busy so would reccomend popping in and making a reservation. Thanks Johnny and team, will certainly be back there one day!

Swell is a naval term (commonly “mute wave”, “swollen sea” or “restia”) and is the type of wave that is not caused by the weather conditions at the time it is observed but is generated by distant weather systems where wind blows for a duration of time in the past or in another area. This is a word we would hear often in the tales of our father, who was a sailor at his youth. This is the name my brother Dimitris thought when we decided to open a beach bar in 1993, so that we can have a good time during the summer season with the guests of our hotel and the people sunbathing on the beach. Eventually during the course of time “Swell” beach bar became a beloved lodge and habit for many of the visitors of Skiathos who are now our friends.
