Another pleasant enouth stay, but eventually, due to issues
Reviewed By SzsteveCStayed here for two periods during our recent visit. I like this place due to its ideal location and it's ease of getting everywhere. It is reasonably priced and the rooms are reasonable... First visit. Arrived to find that the room we had booked WEEKS previously wasn't available. The person in the room needed to stay an extra night but refused to change room so all of a sudden it became our problem! So our family room booked became a large room with one large bed and a "put-me-up" bed! Stayed there the 4 nights we were there as couldn't be bothered to move all the luggage! Second visit. Room was available but spent the first night melting as the air con wasn't working. Spoke about it to reception the following morning who said they would check it out and then show us how to use the air con controls! Durr..... I know how to use air con! When back in the hotel they told us it was indeed broken and we could either move room or wait for the engineer to fix the air con, but they didn't know when he would be coming.... we opted to move. Unfortunately there was no room of the same standard available and so we opted to take two single rooms instead (which we checked out and tested the air con before accepting) although we had to pay the price difference, not even any discount as we were moving due to them and their hotel defects. Whilst I do like this hotel and it's location, and it's staff who I think are great, I think we will be looking for a different hotel for our next stay in Shekou as we seem now to have issues on every visit. Rating would have been much lower but for the staff who did the best they could.

Worth to pay!
Reviewed By EhllyIf your planning to visit Window of the world theme park in Shenzen this is the best place to stay coz it's just 5 mins walk from the WOW. Also near to Window of the world train station so it's convinient. From the Shekou port I took a taxi to here around 45CNY 20mins. check in time after 2PM and check out before 12NN. Have complimentary breakfast from 7:30AM to 10PM in level 1 near check in counter. The breakfast was mostly Chinese food ? so I honestly didn't enjoyed, specially don't have coffee or bread or fruits or salad? I just ate boiled egg?. Most of the staff speak Chinese but they are kind and attentive still sincere to help. Have two free bottle of water inside the room. Have available towel and toothbrush as well. They have small cafe in second floor so comfy and nice ambience. But the menu written in chinese only so i find it difficult good thing the staff really helpful and even used his cellphone for language translation☺️ so cute :) I like the atmosphere outside the hotel looks like in Europe side :) buildings kinda old but find it ok.

Worth it for what you pay.
Reviewed By rcsthompsonIt is getting harder and hard to get really cheap hotels in Shekou now, so this is a real find if you are on a budget. It is extremely basic and the decor is quite tired, but hey, what do you expect for 140-160 RMB? The shower was a bit weak, and it is a noisy hotel generally but most like this usually are in China. Actually the internet was quite good when directed to the right network for the room. Within striking distance of the main Shekou restaurant/leisure area and lots of restaurants very close from McDonalds to a great little hotpot right opposite. So overall would recommend, as long as you are the type who doesn't mind slumming it a little.
