Lovely stay
Reviewed By daviddH9176XWLovely stay with Bev and Michael, so welcoming and good fun. Location is great just outside Ochi Rios on a quiet street. Room was great, very large with a comfy bed and nice ensuite bathroom. Lounge area and rooftop were also very relaxing We hope to return again in the future.

Exceptional Service
Reviewed By Saeyna SEven before checking in I knew I’d have a good trip. The customer service rep Chrisann was so warm and helpful. Then when Keisha followed with the reservation details I received the same excellent customer service interaction. Checking in wasn’t bad but there was a slight miscommunication re the temperature checks at the gate but nothing too off putting. The facility is clean and well kept. Our rooms were comfortable and had most amenities needed. (Iron, ironing board, hangers, safe etc). The highlight of this stay was the food. Omg!! Every meal was exceptional. Even something as simple as a sandwich was a culinary delight. The Christmas meal and set up in the conference room was spectacular. Great attention to detail. We really felt like a part of a big family. The customer service was beyond exceptional. Keisha, the manager, was an excellent host. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The bartender (Andre) and server ( Dalwayne) were so amazing. This place checks all the boxes for a nice quiet low key getaway. It would be nice for a girls trip or family trip or anything in between. I can’t emphasize how awesome the customer service experience is.

Great for the Price
Reviewed By lucianafW238The hotel is clean, staff are really polite, right near center of town, internet is great and has cable. I selected the room with AC which was just a few bucks more and it still had a ceiling fan. You feel safe because although it's near the city it is really quite. I actually walked to the corner store. They said it is a smoking room but I didn't even smell any smoke. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because the windows need darkening blinds, they only provided 1 set of towels and the room has a mini-fridge but no microwave. Other than that for the price it was EXCELLENT I will definitely stay there again when I want a no frills kinda place.

Paradise place has 3 separate units consisting of a basic room on the ground level with a small kitchen. On the upper level available is a 1 bedroom or if preferred is a separate 2 bedroom apartment with back and front landing, kitchen and living room. Each room has Air condition units,hot/cold water,and free Internet access throughout. The Hot tub is located within a gazebo on the ground in the backyard. There is a washing machine located on the back landing. There is fruit trees in the yard along with deck chairs for sunbathing. Guest are made to feel at home away from home with the host and staff promoting community tourism. Paradise place grande has 2 large studio and is open to accommodate guest whilst still under construction. Paradise place grande which is located closer to the Sea is now operational with 2 luxurious large Studio units a short distance from Paradise place.

Reviewed By TashafunNeeded last minute booking via AIRBNB. Owner accommodated with last minute booking. Traveled alone, one night stay was en route to back home. Located within close proximity to the local area. Quiet neighborhood, clean facility. Hot water and AC are good. Felt safe. Rented one of the smaller units downstairs, had kitchen but didn't cook. Wifi works just fine.

Pleasantly Surprised
Reviewed By Camiek876I went to this resort years and years ago when it was called Portside. Even back then it was on it’s way out. It’s so great to see that it is on the mend with this new remodel. The amenities are modern. I was pleasantly surprised too see that the pictures online matched perfectly with the actual rooms. There is TV, WiFi, AC Netflix, something like a Firestick (I don’t quite remember but the point is that you can watch movies). Room service is the only way to order food as the restaurant in property is not fully renovated. On this visit, my husband and I didn’t use the pool but it was clean and had longe chairs. The beach was clean and pretty private (absolutely loved that). We enjoyed our stay.

Extremely disappointed
Reviewed By DuwayneBrooksAttended and agreed the room price of $8,500. There were no signs up with room prices. Observed an AC unit, and fan in the room.. Room and bathroom was decent size and clean. Paid $10,000 and left to buy food. On my return I was told the room rate increased to $8,800.. I asked how? I have already paid you in Jamaican.... The boss said the rate rise, she said.. The AC unit and the fan in the room did not work. I asked for a refund and was refused. I was stuck in a room that was 35 degrees Celsius, sweating like no tomorrow. The neighbouring room, behind the mirror, had the TV blaring the whole night. I called reception to sort this out and nothing happened. This place will never see me again.

A modern gated complex complete with swimming pool, bar area, restaurant and tennis court. Air conditioned rooms with jacuzzi with king and queen side beds. Can sleep up to 8 people.
Not clean or nice
Reviewed By cjmundellThe room was not as shown on there website. The room was dirty. The room had wasps nests outside so couldn't open the windows as I was scared of getting stung. The floor tiles were chipped and the grout was dirty it should have been white but was brown. The throw on the bed was ripped. The fridge door was broken. The chairs were ripped, dirty and rusty so couldn't be used. The WiFi was down for 4 days out of 7. The wash basin had dirty water and mould on it. The basin tap had nothing but water marks. So not sure when it was last cleaned properly. The bath was dirty, the tap and shower had limescale. The soap dish had rust and mould. The phone was broken. There were no hangers to hang clothes on. The mirror was broken and just left standing in the dirty water, with exposed nails in the wall. It feel like the pictures were fabricated as the room was old dingy and dirty and not the same as the pictures displayed. The would outside of the building is peeling and requires repainting. The hotel is on a very steep hill and not suitable for ppl with mobility problems, the elderly and definitely not wheelchair users which is not noted on the booking.com website. I had to request my sheets be changed as they hadn't been done in 5 days. I tried to get a refund after 1 day as it was so dirty but they refused to reimburse me. In the end I stayed somewhere else. . I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone to stay at due to its present state. Its a 2 star at best and I feel I'm being generous.

Teresinajamaica is a rustic designed full service bed and breakfast country house located inside the foothills of Saint Ann's Bay, Jamaica. Just west of Ocho Rios, the area is rich in greenery, ideal for hiking and mountain biking. The country house is only 13 minutes drive to the city centre and 18 minutes drive to the beaches.

It is an unpretentious, attractive guesthouse in a relaxed and pleasant environment with a very flexible, accommodating and knowledgeable host, Stanley. To get there you drive up typical Jamaican winding, rugged country roads through a forest with a great variety of tropical trees and plants. From your balcony you overlook a forested river valley. A distant rooster rouses you in the morning, and the quick glimpses of small green parakeets and other birds is a delight. This is not to forget Amy, who provides typical Jamaican cuisine at its best. Teresinajamaica is a great place to experience the true Jamaica, the sea, and hills, all at a reasonable price and away from the tourist haunts (though these are also quite accessible).
