Reviewed By Inge HIstván is a beautiful host who took very well care of us! His “Panzio” has an unique atmosphere. The room was big and full of beautiful furniture. All was very clean and we had a “home away from home” feeling! Breakfast was a feast in the beautiful, lush garden. As well as all the rooms, the garden was very well kept!

Our one-acre fishing lake, a lake for swimming, a huge adventure-park and a playground together with other facilities of leisure are waiting for those who like spending time and having rest in nature. Our restaurant is well-known for its delicious Hungarian and international cuisine, and is open all-year-round. Nadas Pihenopark is a perfect choice for wedding ceremonies, business parties and teambuilding events; for which we can provide accommodation, too.
Flawless experience
Reviewed By Renáta RThe location, the staff and the opportunities there have provided us an impeccable experience. We participated on a wedding there, what was well organized, tidy and beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and quick. I did not matter it was already 4 AM in the morning, they were there to serve our needs. We asked for an iron before the event. The lady at the reception sent it to our room within a few minutes. It had no fee. Our room was amazing, bright and well organized. Day after the event we could go down to the breakfast area. There is almond milk !!! It is really rare outside of Budapest. Right after breakfast we could enjoy wellness, 4 types of sauna, clear towels and robes. Large pool and a jacuzzi. All of these were included to 1 night at Nádas tó park hotel. I can also recommend to try the coffee at reception it is pretty delicious. Its quality is high above my expectations. We had no time to try the lake and its slides or the adventure park but I am more then sure we will go pack the sooner the better!

Reviewed By kezskatiI was just one night at the Horvath Fogado. Excellent location, ten minutes walk from the main square. Very good size, air-conditioned room with comfortable, double bed. The bathroom were small but clean. Varied cold and hot /eggs/ con- tinental breakfast, tea, coffe, orange juice and many more. Very friendly, helpful, informative owner couple! They offered a 20% discount voucher to the Skanzen. /Hungary's larges ethnographic open-air museum, collection. Nice touch. Affordable price, recommend it to everyone!

The website is easy to use and the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is kind and helpful. A cake was also ordered for my love at my request. The ripples of the small stream and the chirping of birds only enhance the intimate atmosphere. I recommend the Hotel to everyone. Alma és János Győr

Really relaxing weekend
Reviewed By ZsuzsakeleWe had a nice weekend in the hotel facing to river Danube. The view was gorgeous! You can have a look to the 4 - tower - city. The wellness center is rather good with some insufficieny in the jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and helpful they made our stay! The room itself is good, however the separate toilet is inaccessible because of the narrow space between the door and the bowl! The food was extraordinary!

Reviewed By C4su4l_tr4v3l3rLocation: Margareta pension is located at one end of Budakeszi, near the road to Paty. It is 1 hour away from Budapest city center by public transport and about 20 min walk distance from Budakeszi center. Bus stop is 10 min walk (at the market place). The location is the first building on that side of the road, having an empty field on a side and a small forest at the back.From the empty field side the property is hidden by a nice wall of greenery. Capacity: There are 3 buildings in this space. First one has two levels and is at the road front - most likely was the original house in the past. Ground level has a dining room and another room that does not seem to be available for guests. Upper floor (former attic of the original house) has a small common area and 6 relatively small rooms. Further back in the yard there are 2 more single level buildings next to each other. One has 3 guest rooms while the last building seems to be the one where the owners reside.There are free parking spots in from of the location as well as on the side. Rooms: I’ve stayed at this pension several times for short periods (2-3 nights) – each time I was hosted in one of rooms in the first building and therefore I can only describe these 6 rooms. Judging by the exterior looks and the pictures posted by the owners on booking.com, the other 3 rooms in the secondary building seem to be far superior and therefore the experience of staying at this place might differ greatly depending on the room you’ll get. Funny enough all rooms seem to be offered for same price. Rooms in the first building do show serious signs of aging (furniture and amenities) but overall are fitted acceptably. There is a small common area at the top of the stairs with a table and a micro oven. All rooms I’ve stayed in had a double plus a single bed, small fridge, small wardrobe, table with 2 chairs and a TV (the TV set in one of the rooms however was extremely small). Bathrooms are relatively small, without windows, having an air vent in the ceiling. Rooms were clean (not spotless but decent) but the walls do show small cracks or uneven surfaces. There is free WIFI covering most of the space (signal in some places in the room might we very weak). Biggest issue by far with these 6 rooms is the noise. There is absolutely no sound isolation and the wooden doors are old and dried out to the point you can see the hallway through. You will hear almost everything going on in the other rooms and the common area, even neighbors talking or doing their business in the bathroom. If we leave this major sound issue aside, overall the rooms give the feeling of “barely ok”, not excelling in anything but not being awful either. Other aspects: - Dining room is locked through out the day and only accessible during breakfast. - There are no complimentary offerings (coffee, tea) readily available. They might be available on request from the host, but I'm not sure about it. - In the courtyard there are few benches to sit down but no table or organized common area. - There is no pool - Although rooms in the first building have no smoking policy, in some of them you can feel slightly that someone used to smoke inside. - There is a bell at the entrance to the first building that you can use to call the host Breakfast: They do offer breakfast for 5 EUR/person and is served in the dining room at the ground floor of the main building. There is a small selection of cheese, ham, butter and such. Part of the room is fitted as kitchen and the owner will prepare eggs or omelets on demand. Personally, I found the breakfast offering and experience not worth it and would recommend 10 min walk to the market place, where you can get much nicer breakfast selection and proper coffee at a small cafe next to the supermarket. Tips: - Definitely request room 7, 8 or 9 (secondary building). If none is available, best of the worst is room 2, which is slightly bigger than the others and also has a small balcony facing the street. - Double/triple check with the owners if you’re going to arrive late. One of the nights we were woke up around 1 a.m. by the noise and loud knocks in the main door of guests arriving late, claiming they informed the host, but the owner did not show up. From what I can tell those people left without checking in. - Do investigate in advance over phone with the owners about the room and conditions you’ll get. One of the neighbors was really upset that he chose this place based on the pictures posted on booking.com but the room he was given (one of those in the first building) was nothing resembling what he was expecting. He did change to another pension later, however, as the policy of this place seems to be payment first, he had to pay and spend one night at Margareta. - Leaving your window open might be a bit unwise – on the last visit noticed a swarm of wasps in the greenery at the front of the building and had to get several of them out of the room after leaving the window open while going for lunch. - All the mattresses I had were quite hard and rigid – keep that in mind if you have issues with such things. Overall: Is this good value for the money? I regularly stayed at another pension in Budakeszi where I pay same price for far superior conditions – so from this point of view I would say no. However, if the other place is fully booked, Margareta might just be the next best alternative in Budakeszi, if you do have to stay in this small suburb. My personal overall impression is that this place is “barely OK”, it will not exceed your expectations but rooms are clean and, if you don’t mind the sounds from your neighbors, overall experience might be positive. Of course, if you get one of the rooms in the secondary building, your experience with this place might be a whole different one altogether.

Reviewed By fapuma001Jó helyen van, a fürdő pár perc sétával elérhető, a busz és a HÉV a panzió mellett van, tehát tömegközlekedéssel is könnyen megközelíthető. Az étterem rész jelenleg nem üzemel. A szoba felújított volt, mondjuk azt nem értem, hogy a pár ezer forintos fürdőszobai polc miért nem lett lecserélve :) az rontott az összképen egy kicsit. A szoba tiszta volt, légkondícionálóval volt felszerelve. Ha megint a fürdőbe mennénk akkor is itt foglalnánk újból.
