Reviewed By 947lyndacOur experience here was great! Beautiful accommodation with breakfast. There was a fridge and cooking facilities, with a small terrace and electric fireplace! We booked the package with Le Nordic Spa included. It is an easy walk to and from the Spa, as well as being in the small town, so restaurants and pubs are right there! The location is perfect, it’s extremely clean and the service was great! Very friendly! I would definitely return!

Reviewed By cebcolpittsThis is an average hotel that has been kept well. Not fancy but has everything you need including lovely husband and wife owners. Our room was clean . The bathroom spotless. Breakfast was fulsome as boiled eggs, waffles , several kinds of bread and yoghurt plus tasty coffee. Prices very reasonable.

A relaxing, interesting, enjoyable experience
Reviewed By Joanne SI was sitting on the balcony feeling the sun, listening to the current, smelling the wood stove and hit a level of relaxation that is so rare. This is a really interesting place to stay. Gilbert is an intriguing host. An artist, traveller, good cook (delicious French toast, fruit and yogurt for breakfast), entertaining conversationalist, he has developed this gite in a personalized, thoughtful and stylish manner. The rooms are private and very comfortable, each with a balcony or patio. The open areas are full of interesting souvenirs from Africa and his paintings, and very comfortably arranged with seating areas, a wood stove, games and books. Gilbert speaks English but we chose to practice our French and he was most obliging. The town is rural Quebec with delightful local restaurants (not high end, but good fare) and lots of walking opportunities. This is also a good place for biking. Highly recommend this town and the gite, it was a lovely experience.

Hidden Tresure Indeed!!

Le Tresor Cache situated in Chelsea Quebec is only 10km down the road and was our first B&B experience. I must say, Marc nailed it!! The B&B is top notch, large, private, beautiful home. Marc was accommodating and attentive to our every need. Provided my spouse and I with details and options for what room we wanted to stay in. Allowed private time in the whirlpool tub and went the extra mile on two occasions. First by providing a personal taxi service to and from Wakefield so that my wife and I could enjoy a show and beverage on Saturday night. Then on Sunday morning my wife and I slept in, thinking we had missed breakfast, Marc made an exception and served us a full breakfast even thou we were almost an hour late! In a time when people rarely go out of there way to help others, Marc truly has reaffirmed my faith in the service Industry. Tres Bien!!

Low price and good service
Reviewed By jeansP6699WII stayed there a long time waiting for documents, and it was ideal for the low price. One of the few good, cheap places that will take pets!!!! Priceless, as otherwise you are stuck with high end hotels at 3X the price... Amenities were excellent, ESPECIALLY the top-end smart tv, complete with Youtube and Netflix for free! Clean, well maintained, in several weeks the only occasional problem was the odd noisy neighbours on weekends, and even that was not severe. Giant Tiger right across the street: Very convenient. Fridge, microwave, and an actually nice baththub. The staff is extremely nice and accomodating.

Pine Lodge is a family owned and operated resort that has been in operation since the 1920's. With a rustic 9 hole golf course, full service campground and 8 room bed and breakfast we offer a chance to escape the hectic pace of city living and enjoy getting back to a simpler time. Located on the Ottawa River we have a beautiful sand beach great for sunny days. All winter we offer 18 km of groomed ski and snow shoe trails as well as direct access to snowmobile trails. Don't forget to try the restaurant while visiting. All of our rooms were built in the early 1920's and do lack the electrical outlets for today's consumption. Each room is approximately 150 to 200 square feet.

Reviewed By Happytraveller1414We loved our 5 day stay at the lodge. We swam and kayaked on the sandy beach, played a few rounds of golf, and just enjoyed the peace and beauty of this lovely setting. The meals were exceptional, and the owner and staff could not have been more accommodating. We had 3 dogs between our family members, and they had a wonderful time as well. For a small extra charge, this is the perfect destination to include your pets. Highly recommend this 1930s bed and breakfast, and we will be back.

The rooms are old, dark, and quite depressing; you have to ask for a kettle, for a wire, so you can sit next to the window with your laptop. This place needs a real overhaul. Even though it is a bit cheaper than the other hotels in town, The staff is quite helpful.

This bed and breakfast is situated in an extremely quiet region and has a large in-ground swimming pool. All the rooms are air conditioned and all have private washrooms. There is a large patio to relax and prepare small meals and snacks. There is also free wi-fi and a television in each room. The house has a 2 bedroom suite which can accomodate 6 to 8 persons. You can walk to quite a few restaurants, as well as the Hull Casino. The b&b is only 5 to 7 minutes from Parliament Hill and the Museum of History. It really feels like the country side within a city.
