Reviewed By B CThe hotel location is perfect to visit the city, really in the center and just couple of steps away from the Opera! Room was nice and clean. Staff was nice and kind, all young people. The only comment I have for the staff is that they were not really able to give suggestions for visiting or other...I think it would have been helpful especially considering that at the tourist office they speak only ukranian. But they gave me a map of the city that was nice. Room price was ok, breakfast was not included but there are couple of places just downstairs (one is like the "hotel restaurant" where, if I well remember, it is possible to have a discount as hotel guest). They can arrange transfer to/from airport for a good price. Reccomended!

Great place to stay in Odessa
Reviewed By ZuribobFantastic location at the quiet end of Deribasovskaya St. very close to the Opera, and Potemkin stairs. Lovely courtyard with statue of Zamenhof (the creator of Esperanto) Easy to find, a taxi to/from the airport should be approx 120 Hryvna ($5) 20 minutes without traffic. Check in was fast and easy, after arriving at 10pm. We stayed in the Potemkin room, (no. 3) with large balcony, shaded by trees and overlooking Deribasovskaya St. Room was large and clean, with microwave, kettle and sink, crockery etc. Safety deposit box, bath robes, slippers, good lighting and power sockets, WiFi worked well at all times. TV with reasonable selection of channels. Bed comfortable, with a choice of Duvet and pillows. Plenty of storage space. Good size bathroom, with toiletries and good shower, good pressure and consistent temperature. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Also a message from Customer relations before visiting, and after our stay. offering help and asking if our stay was up to expectations. We had a little confusion regarding the mini-bar upon check out, but this was resolved. Loved the location, professionalism of the staff and management, the cup cakes and nice letter at check out. Good value for money overall, and met or exceeded our expectations. Booked directly through the hotel. There is a 24 hour supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Would be happy to stay again, or recommend to others.

Reviewed By PeterG873Website says transfer from airport is 350 uah so I booked it. No response so day before I messaged to confirm. Was told it was now 500. Our flight was just over an hour late. Driver was not happy and at hotel we were told an extra 100 was required for waiting. (Consider that an UberXL which was a much better car on return from the hotel to the airport was less than 100 all up and you can decide for yourself.) First night was hell. Sound proofing between rooms is ok but between floors is non existent. Around midnight the couple upstairs decided a long night of moaning and testing the bed springs was in order accompanied by pumping house music. We were underneath the action. So every room here is a gamble. Next morning we were relieved when we found out they had checked out otherwise we would have changed hotels for the first time ever. Otherwise room is ok. Wifi pauses from time to time. Breakfast is in a small room. We always found a seat. One lady cooks the same thing each day we were there and the kitchen is downstairs so she doesn’t always manage to keep up with demand. And it’s the same things each day. Scrambled eggs, salami, cheese, juice, cakes and I never could work out the coffee machine. Location is good. A couple of blocks from the main shopping and restaurant locations and also a couple of blocks from some pretty good beaches. It’s in a courtyard of an old building which is pretty good and means you get no noise from the street. Walking was pleasant and safe. There are plenty of mini markets (including 24x7) and supermarkets very close by. Just around the corner is a 24 hour pharmacy. The front desk wanted cash rather than credit card otherwise they generally hid in their room behind the desk. They only came out if you stood at the desk observed by webcam I presume. No tips or local knowledge. Take a gamble if you want, maybe ask for a top floor room but personally I would be trying somewhere else. We quite enjoyed Odessa and two days was enough unless you like small museums and Black Sea beaches.

Reviewed By Eralp312I liked this hotel for staying because it is so closed to the main touristic places.(Arkadia and Derybasivska Street, Greek Park, Istanbul Park, Potemkin Stairs, Odessa National Theater and so on...) As for touristic places, you might walk from this hotel to these places around 10 minutes. The room I stayed was somewhat good. I liked the breakfast as well as the cleanliness of the room. Both checkin and check-out process were fast and the personnel were so kind to help you.

Our apartments are located in the very heart of Odessa - the famous Arcadia. Residents of Odessa named the area in honor of the utopian Greek Arcadia, which was a poetic place of happy and carefree life. Happiness and enjoyment of life reigned at the Arcadia of ancient Greeks. All was fun in Odessa Arcadia also. Aristocratic families have being settling here since the very beginning of Arcadia's existence. The Count Wittgenstein's Bowery appeared here one of the first, and in 1818, the Duke Sergei Volkonsky, a future Decembrist and a good friend of Pushkin, bought his estate "in a beautiful location on the sea". In summer of 1824, Alexander Pushkin used to come frequently to his estate, as well as to the summer residence of Antonio Feognosti, Odessa Greek. Possessions of the descendants of Gagarin brothers, the princely family, were located on a vast plateau overlooking the beaches of Arcadia. On this new found land, public baths were opened, new restaurants and entertainment facilities were built. The Modern Arcadia follows the course, specified to it by its past. The most noisy and crowded sea beach of Odessa, the center of the resort life and nightlife can be found here. There are the best restaurants and night clubs, and if a good try, you can find here the main nerve of the Odessa's carefree life. Arcadia is varied. Here, you can feel yourself a real bon vivant, you can relax, and having turned off your domestic manager, take your time. You can assign an unforgettable romantic rendezvous filled with amazing lightness of being, or you can, as a character of Isaac Babel's book said, "to bring a half a bottle with a light meal and go riding in the fresh air of Arcadia."
Excellent apartment
Reviewed By Antoine AHighly recommended. The rooms are specious, modern, clean and equipped. They are located at a walking distance from the beach and Arcadia. Staff are very helpful. We stayed there for 9 nights. The only negative about this place is the breakfast. By the third days, I couldn't eat it bc it was the same day after day. They should be more creative when it comes to breakfast. Other than that, I will definitely come back again next summer.

The unicity of this place consists not only in that a hotel and restaurant are close located. Spinach is unique that the variety of numbers allows to arrive to us on rest by whole family and an even favourite pet will find for us for itself a comfortable corner. All numbers are perfectly furnished, they have own санузлы, at some the terraces are located with a kind on a sea, on that it is possible not only to have dinner but also on crisp marine air to accept sun-baths, engage in healthy things. In the rooms of rest I am different sort of entertainment, such as televisions and free internet. Numbers are constantly served, therefore problems do not arise up with a cleanness. All furniture is very quality and during rest is of to the guests exceptionally the use. In the rooms of hotel there is all in order that without agitations and superfluous fuss to conduct the rest. A convenient place to stay at the beach in Odessa
Reviewed By octavsthe hotel is conveniently located just a few meters from Arkadia beach (which, by the way, is better than Lanjeron beach). the room was nice and clean, staff very friendly. we'll be happy to come again to this place! what we did not like does not relate to the hotel really - it's the overcrowded beach in the season, as people as laying down so close to each other so that it's difficult to walk through to on the way to the sea.

Nice hotel with a good location.
Reviewed By Nicolaj WWe loved the location. Close to Arcadia, but still far enough that the nights are quiet. Very friendly staff. Most of the staff could more or less communicate in english. Very good: Easy working safe for your valueables. Friendly staff that ordered a cheap taxi for me on my way back to the airport. Not so good: On hotels.com it says that they could fix pick-up from the airport. Apperently they cant. I had my hotel in Kiev to call them, and it was not possible, so I had to bargain my way to a fair taxi price at Odessa airport.. There was no fridge in my room.. And no water boiler. So no late night coffee for me. I would have given 5 stars if only I had a fridge, and perhaps also a water boiler. If you are coming to Odessa, I think it is the right choice.
