Rooms are big and clean, private bathroom with hot water, TV, AC with a backup generator. Dinner and full breakfast are included. Services provided are daily trips in private boat to the beautiful islands of Parque Nacional Morrocoy, cooler with gourmet lunch and optional alcoholic beverages. Posada La esmeralda has a pool naturally warmed by sun light, waiting for when you return from the beach. Outdoor shower. Common areas provide an inviting ambiance for guest to meet, listen to music or share a cocktail. Posada La Esmeralda is kids friendly with plenty and secure areas for recreation. We have direct access to the water with a private doc.

They take care of all your meals and your accommodates in the beach. Hence, The meals at dinner time are really good. It takes the whole beach experience in Venezuela to a new level. Highly recommended.

Found this place on Google Maps and read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to stay...really glad we did!! We arrived at around 11:30 in the afternoon, checked in and changed for the beach. The provided us 'to go' lunches and a cooler with ice for a reasonable price, then drove us to the dock and a boat was waiting for us to take us to one of the nearby island beaches. We got back and there was hot water in the showers and cold beer and snacks (again for a reasonable price) They treated us like VIPs (especially Leandro and Gregorio) and dinner was delicious. Woke up to great service they brought us all a cup of coffee (for a reasonable price) and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast that filled us up. (Coffee with breakfast was included in the price of the room, as well as dinner the night before) We had a great time and we'd recommend this place to our friends.

Reviewed By Sightsee646908This place was just re-starting when we stayed there. The owner is a lady who is a great cook, so dinners were delicious. And that's it, the rest was just problems. The security of the town and area is quite low, so be aware of your surroundings at all times, if you plan to use the local beaches, which are far from the best in the area. This posada was quite abandoned. Many of the amenities did not work. No TV, no Wi-fi, no hot water, etc. But we had to pay for it since it was part of the "package". There are not enough employees to run the place. We were overcharged for very basic lunches to take out to the beaches. The owner hid in her own rooms when needed.. at times the place was probably once very different...

The place you can feel at home but in paradise
Reviewed By Sam SWhere do i begin? I arrived late during the nighttime after a stressfull drive from Caracas to Morrocoy and didnt have any booking neither did i have a reservation. Mr Michel and señora Astrid the owners of the Posada Morokkue in Chichiriviche, welcomed me and opened their doors. They made me feel like home from day.1 Señor Michel and señora Astrid have beautiful children and they are so friendly. I stayed for 7 nights at the Posada and was so sad to leave. We shared stories and had some beers together and listened to music and laughed from our hearts. They helped me with tour arrangements and i got to experience the paradise of the carrebean. They make really good food especially the fish. And if the staff had a day off señora Astrid made me the breakfast herself. They have nice animals, parrots, friendly dogs, cats, chickens, birds wm. This is the place where i felt like one of the family, i didn't feel like a tourist goat waiting to be money-milked like we mostly feel other countries or places. Mr. Michel treated me like a good friend that we have known each others for years. With my weak spanish mixed with some weak english and with some body-language we had amazing conversations ? I love you guys??? I hope one day i can return to this amazing place. Thank you for everything? Sam - Norway

Reviewed By Anders MA fantastic and magical place. Wonderful food as organic and local as is possible, flavours you will not find in any city. The service level is just incredible and they will help you with everything. Stay includes boat trips to the national park which has some of the best beaches in the world. Standard is very good, but it is a posada not a hotel. If you dont chill out and enjoy this place, you never will.
