Villa Stella

On 1940 was the private groundmother's House, now we managed with love and care , great attention to our breakfasts, with many homemade products , genuine and local .

Delightful place

Reviewed By mbzb2016

We had booked two rooms at Villa Stella, one standard and one deluxe room. The deluxe room was perfect but the standard room was a little small, the bathroom for that room was tiny. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, they stay in touch with you from the moment you make your reservation and work out arrival details. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were there during the heat wave in June, so we appreciated the air conditioning in our rooms. It was great staying on the island of Lido. It gave us a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, and head back in when we wanted. The water taxis are a very convenient way to travel back and forth.

Relais Alberti

Ca' Alberti is a fourteenth century palace, located in the heart of hamlet of Malamocco, Venice. The rooms are decorated in a typical Venetian style, with antique furnitures, Murano-glass chandeliers and lamps. All the rooms provide air conditioning, flat-screen tv, free wifi internet connection and minibar. Breakfast is a varied home made buffet, that you can enjoy in the garden during the summer and in "Sala del camino" during the winter season. The little Malamocco village is a cozy place, ideal for the persons who are searching a peaceful Venice. Close by the lagoon and beaches allow to admire unique views. Relais Alberti offers you the possibility of having a private dinner. We also have a bike rental service, to explore in healthy and respectful way the territory, and we organize cooking classes (@Lelocandieresupperclub) that begin in our private vegetable garden.

Friendly staff but too expensive

We booked deluxe hotel.130 € night.the hotel is in a charming location but the bath needs renovation as the shower is rusty and the bathwaste is stacked. Also our room was small. The breakfast is not as rich as you would expect for this price. There is no restaurant in the hotel. We asked to clean the room again the first nite as next to the fridge behind the chair it was very dusty.

Bed & Breakfast Ca' Noemi

“You must experience this b and b and this village!” Reviewed 25 July 2011 1person found this review helpfulThe village of Malamocco is tranquil and just what is needed after the hectic pace of sighseeing in Venice. The location between the lagoon and the sea is magical. There is a good beach and fabulous sunsets. You can explore the whole area by bicycle provided. The town is ancient, with old alleyways to explore. Katia and Valter are the best hosts you could possibly ask for. They have renovated this house to a high standard and their hospitality shows their pride in their home and their love of people. Breakfast (apricot croissants to die for) is served on the terrace or in the family kitchen/dining room and offers a good variety. I will return as soon as possible to this little piece of heaven. Room Tip: A room at the front or the back gives the best ambiance. this is a person who spent holiday in CANOEMI

Very much a family affair

Reviewed By Capt_Slog

I don't mean this in a bad way, but coming here reminds me a lot of visiting elderly relatives when I was a kid. There're family mementos everywhere, the furniture is a mix and a bit haphazard. You're very aware that this is also someones home. However, it's no less comfortable for that. My room for the week was on the ground floor. It was a reasonable size, had aircon, a safe and a TV. The bathroom was en-suite containing toilet, bidet, shower and wash basin. As mentioned, the furniture was old but all was serviceable and the rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Breakfast was good everyday. There's a good variety of the usual 'continental' breakfast items including cold meats and cheeses, cereals, plus boiled eggs and some really nice homemade preserves to go with the toast. It all worked well, but I'd have loved a tea-pot! Yes, I know I'm in Italy and I can't help being English, but it would have been so much easier than trying wandering around with cups of tea, half made (uses less tea bags too!). The staff were friendly enough. I've read reviews that say they were impolite or unwelcoming. I never found that, and can't see what else was expected. I wasn't after conversation from them, just the basic facts at check-in and simple hellos were all I needed. I don't speak Italian, so I don't expect others to go out of their way to stretch their English for me. I was a little concerned about the keys. All the room keys are left un-managed in the reception area, and anyone could take any key. Although the door was supposed to be closed (needing a code to open it) this often was not the case. The hotel is in a decent location, it's quiet enough but it is in a built up area with no view as such. We walked from the ferry on arrival, but afterwards used the buses each time once we'd bought ACTV tickets. The trips on the ferry were fun and part of the holiday for us, it's quick enough into Venice that we didn't mind more that one journey a day if we wanted to return at night. Although I'm unlikely to return, I'd be happily stay at the hotel again. We had no problems and didn't find anything lacking. Thanks

Villa Angelica

Villa Angelica is a magnificent building dating from the early nineteen hundreds, located on the enchanting island of Lido di Venezia and just a stone's throw away from the famous Palazzo del Cinema and the beaches. The hotel, that has recently been totally restored, is just a short walk away from where it is possible to board the main water buses that will take you to the historical centre of Venice (St. Mark's Square, the Rialto bridge and the Biennale) and its islands (Murano, Burano, Torcello). Villa Angelica is a small crenellated fortress that, with its refined furnishings, recalls Venice's historical links with the Orient. The building is surrounded by a private park where, when the climate is warmer, it is possible to start your day with a wholesome breakfast, or find total relaxation under the shade of the laurels, palms and bamboos after a day's sightseeing. This friendly and professional family-run establishment is owned by Amedeo and Nicole who, along with their staff, will attend to your every need in order to make you feel totally at home and render your stay in this romantic Hotel as comfortable as possible.

We shall not come back..

Reviewed By oeildeshotels

I was the first time we chose a BB and we must recognize it did not meet our expectations.First of all, although we had written our time of arrival, there was nobody there: we waited after having phoned. Then, the room is very noisy: we heard everything from the other rooms. Towels are not changed unless you ask for it. Poor breakfast in a small kitchen with no place for everybody, no fresh stuff. Most of all, dirty sponges to wash the cups... Although far from any shop, no boiler or machine to drink during the day. Well, they will get tourists in any case: this is the Venice area, so they do not care.

Small paradise in Lido

Villa Ines is in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful garden, old house with modern interiors. Very spacious and good bathrooms. Good bed. No noise from outside. Short walk from beach. Breakfast very good, and it was served in garden. Besides beautiful garden, not many facilities. Small parking, but rarely one comes to Lido with a car. Friendly service.

Dainty Treasure

My visit on a sunny spring day was brightened by Michela and Michaela, the two women running this hotel and its sister, Relais Alberti. The rooms are furnished in antiques snd overlook a pretty garden. Highlights: an outing to pick herbs and make our own herbal salt; the custom dinner; the homemade cakes at breakfast; the walks through the bamboo to the beach; the boat ride to Pellistrina. A lovely stay full of simple pleasures. Grazie!
