Reviewed By erica3487I always have times to stay in Grandmas Hotel if I come to Bali from 2017. Because they always keep good standard especially in services, food, room cleanliness, strategic position, good price/ rate and the room have fully facility. Even though the interior make us feel comfortable, and the staff are friendly too, sometimes they even know our name :).

Outstanding hotel...Outstanding value
Reviewed By mark tI was recently lucky enough to be able to have a family holiday with my grown up children and my younger chidren. I saw Arana suite hotel had some really good reviews and seeing that I needed to book 5 rooms to accomodate us all, I wanted to make sure we were not going to be disapointed. I certainly wasn't. This hotel was perfect for us. The rooms are not huge, but they didn't need to be. They had everything one could want. They were all spotlessly clean. The beds were big and very comfortable. The bathrooms were also big and the showers were powerful with plenty of hot water. Check in was quick and easy, even an ice cold drink was handed out to us all. The staff are very friendly, we were always greeted with a smile. I was really impressed with breakfast. Arana offer something a bit different to the usual buffet options that most establisments do. They have an A la Carte choice with everything from eggs benedict, sausage, egg and bacon, or my favourite Nasi or Mi Goring. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Plenty of coffee or tea is provided as well as fruit and fruit juice. You can opt to have breakfast in your room, we opted to eat in the lobby every day which was lovely. The hotel provided us with airport transfers. Airport to hotel was IDR 200000. A driver was waiting for us at the airport with a name card. A much more desirable way to get to the hotel than a taxi. Location of the hotel is really good. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Beach is about a 15 minute walk away as is the resort centre....a taxi will cost you the equivilent of about $2.50 if you are feeling lazy. We had a bit of an incident whist we were there. The glass door to the bathroom must of had a flaw in it as it shattered one evening when my wife was sliding it closed. This would have been no fault of the hotel, I was very impressed with how the situation was handled. The first thing they were concerned about was if either myself or my wife were hurt in any way. They then moved us to another room immediatly even helping us move all of our belongings. The customer service was excellent and some of the best I have ever come across. This is a boutique hotel that is amazing value. I would thoroughly reccomend it to anyone. We would not hesitate to book here again. Well done to all the staff at Arana suite for making us so welcome.

The hotel is well located between Kuta and Legian, 5 minutes walk to popular Legian beach, 20 minutes from the airport. A new boutique hotel perfectly located in a quiet street in the middle of Kuta, only 5 minutes walk to Legian St and 10 minutes walk to the beach. Our well designed 3 star rooms all have air conditioning, television, free Wi-fi, and balconies overlooking the pool. Sitting in the open air restaurant/bar you would never guess you were in the middle of Kuta. Our delicious and varied menu features both Western and Indonesian favourites. Our staff are very friendly and helpful. Park your car right out the front of the hotel to unload passengers and luggage.

Reviewed By Mel68lovesgiliI booked a super deluxe room that cost $37 a night . Upon arrival we were given a tiny crap old room that I said was not what I paid for . We were shown a bigger room that was what I had seen online . The outside of the room was hand carved timber with a 5 piece lounge suite that looked fit for a king & queen . Inside was a letdown , the aircon worked , the bed had a gross festy looking old bedspread that looked unwashed. I stashed that in the cupboard & asked for an extra sheet . Sheets were thin , grey , stained but clean . The toilet was positioned very close to the wall in front of it so your knees touched the wall . Shower over the bath , it had hot water , no shower curtain so it became a wet area really quick . The bathroom looked grotty & mouldy . Breakfast was included & that was fine . The pool is small but clean & surrounded by lovely gardens & lots of greenery . No real reception or identifiable staff . No safety deposit boxes or safe in the room . They have a couple of better newer rooms but they were booked already . Location is great with a short walk to the beach . I think you can stay somewhere equally as crappy for half the price . Best thing are the plants & outdoor balcony .

Great place to stay
Reviewed By RMB010101We stayed for 3 nights and after travelling around Bali for 2 weeks already it was a welcome surprise. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, bathroom is good too, a bit of a walk from the beach so will take a good 15/20 minutes brisk walking. Has a safe and a large fridge in the room with air conditioning as well as a nice balcony if upstairs, small but clean pool also. The TV is basic channels so no fox satellite tv I’m afraid but we didn’t come to Bali to watch tv! This is a small home stay complex, very quiet but nice as set back from the road and crazy bikes/cars. Would definitely come back and thanks for a wonderful stay.

I stayed over a week so had a good deal on price too. Morning coffee served to the room what more you want ???

Great budget hotel
Reviewed By FlanMurrayNice little spot for budget travellers in Kuta. It’s on a side street so there’s not a lot of noise. Ice cold air conditioning and safe in room. There isn’t many amenities with the hotel but you get what you pay for. AMAZING little restaurant right outside the entrance - most meals are 20,000-25,000!!
