an underutilised place with huge potential
Reviewed By COK_ArchieSYou can book this place for the LOCATION and Service. Nothing else is outstanding about the place. If you are traveling as a group, this place can turn out to be fun, but for individual families, many things can be a turn off. For eg, instead of having larger bedrooms, they have huge lobby, kitchen, common wash rooms, yoga rooms etc for group travelers. And also no TV on individual rooms, but at a common room. While we were there, climate was pleasant as in not too cold for a jacket to be worn, and not foggy at all. Hotel grounds are under utilized. No outdoor play facilities for kids. Indoor playing facility too is limited. Food quality is average or rather below average for the price they charge. Buffet is mostly south Indian dishes only. Whats below is not something directly related to the resort, and they have limited or nil responsibility on the road conditions leading to their property. Access to the place is very pathetic. Never ever follow google maps direction, if you are traveling via adimali. It will take you places, where roads were just memories , even for the previous generation. We managed to reach the place in one piece only by mere luck and some driving skills. I damaged my cars (midsize hatchback) under body, and as an icing on the top, our car body got damaged by a log which fell from another vehicle while giving side to pass by. This happened inside the resort premises, as they have really narrow roads which is meant for hardly a car.

Only thing to note is that the deluxe cottages need a fair bit of climbing as the resort is on a slope, so suitable for youngsters and not older people as it can be a tad exhausting. But overall, 100% recommended!

"Keratheeram" is a very special guest house with its architecture alined with nature and thinking of your comfort. Cleanness and your comfort is our top priority. Come and visit us for a few stolen days from paradise in a friendly environment! During the day, you can benefit from our green garden, by resting on one hammock, reading your book, drinking your smoothies and and when it is the season, you can eat some good fruits from the trees :) Also we are growing our own tomatoes, green salads and parsley. Other than our garden, we have a roof top terrace where you can sit and relax in front of the ocean view. We tried to create a relaxing place with lots of books in many international languages, a good music and couple of board games for fun.t's a place where you can socialize with other people and make friends from all over the world. Also in the sunrises and sunsets, you can do your daily Yoga routine.

Reviewed By Kerri IWe stayed at Keratheeram for 11 nights. The rooms were small but there was a nice balcony outside each room. The location is great- very close to the restaurants and shops and the beach. The owners and staff were very nice. The rooms were clean when we arrived and then cleaned only once more during our stay. This was disappointing as they could have used another cleaning. The rooftop patio is a great place to relax- although this area too could use a more thorough cleaning. There is water available for guests to refill their water bottle. The owners and staff were friendly and polite but I would have been grateful if they’d offered more specific insight and suggestions.

The bathroom was really spacious. Room had everything we needed in terms of amenities, space, cleanliness, etc. The. rooms we booked had open balconies with transparent sliding doors, if we slide the curtains, it's an amazing view and we really loved it. The room didn't need any air conditioning because the climate was so good We went there as a group. We got this amazing offer from their website for group stays. This package was really budget friendly. You can check their website for details. We were welcomed with refreshing drinks. The package included drinks, breakfast, camp fire, cycling and other activities in their resort . We couldn't do the fun activities because we didn't have time. But the food was amazing Their service was also really nice, They responded to all our requests really well. One of us had an electric car. The resort also provided facilities to charge our car for free. This came in really handy. The way to the resort is little bad. But it's only for the last 1 or 2 kms. Overall, we really loved it and would 100% recommend to anyone who is planning to stay in vagamon. This is the best stay you can hope for in this price range

Reviewed By Anamika_98Our stay at Eterno Capithans Dale was an excellent break from the busy city life. We stayed in the suite room with splendid views of the hills and the tea plantations. The property has a luxurious and relaxing interior which sits on a slop in middle of the tea plantation with great views of the scenic valley. Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, was the excellent service offered by the staff, was very attentive, professional and friendly. There is jeep trekking, walk trekking, and other activities provided there. It was indeed a wonderful mini-vacation!

They were very careful to ensure our comfortable and happy stay. Breakfast was very rich and delicious. Rooms were very big and well arranged. Room had a spacious balcony with greenery all around. Washroom and linen were very neat and clean. Jobin was very helpful in planning or activities in Thekkady. And all this comfort at a very nominal price. I can say without any doubt that this is one of the best budget stay in Thekkady.
