It was OK but room a bit disappointing
Reviewed By Marie VThe guest is generally fine. We nejoyed the pool, the breakfast and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. We had a big family room and enjoyed the space but the design is not really nice comapred to the rest of the guest house, the room was full of mosquitos, curtains are not lloking nice and making the room look "cheap". I beleive some design effort could have been done. So globally, it's fine but could be improved

The service we got from the receptionist Josephine was amazing immediately we decided to look for no further we booked it and spend a weekend there, the apartment was clean, spacious and location very cozy family friendly place , My boys loved the pools even up to now they're still talking about them. Personally i loved the quietness excellent service and the staff were very helpful, i will definitely recommend it and looking forward to book it again for my future visits in Jinja. We had an Unforgettable experience.

Reviewed By 336giladbEden Rock is a beautiful resort! 3 different kinds of room are available, as well as a pool. the location is a few hundred meters from the Nile, the team is kind and a bonfire is guranteed every night (when it doesnt rain). Decent stay for a decent price
Reviewed By muyreseThe price is good for this hotel. The room is clean and the shower is warm. A simple breakfast is included. The wifi works best in the lobby and is spotty in the rooms. The rooms have little balconies which is very nice and air conditioning. Near to town.

Reviewed By experttravelcornerWe stayed here while volunteering with local charities and had just over two weeks sharing a twin room. Some of the organisation was slow- we were given a double bed originally and we had to ask for a twin- we were then given a room with three beds and told we would have to move the following day, but the room wasn’t available so we had packed our things again for no reason. We also got a box of water that was half full and it took three days for the staff to deliver the rest of the bottles to us and we had to ask daily for it! The food in the restaurant was lovely and all of the staff were great with us and so kind and helpful. I would stay here again in the future.

Well ,at first I thought it beeing near the market the noise would inconvenience our peace ,but I tell you what ,it's very calm and quite once you enter inside .clean rooms and absolutely excellent service .

Reviewed By SamSssst2 adults WiFi - was good in our room, the lobby and dinning room. Good Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Super Hot water excellent!! ? Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy access to the tourist sites and City centre using a boda boda that is. Not good. Breakfast was very very very very basic as in boiled eggs and bread ??..not good at all (well 1 morning there was matooke, now that was good, other mornings were not good) They have a bar that plays loud music on weekends so be ready to make other plans because sleeping is what you will not be doing (unless you can sleep like the dead!). Others - when your back early morning / late night the gate may be closed, just knock en knock en knock en knock, the guard will eventually open. - Did not get to use the pool ???? Enjoy!

in spite of prepaid booking - hotel was booked out
Reviewed By 233tobiasWe had booked our stay in the Bridgeway via booking.com in September 17 and the 90 $ for 2 nights had been withdrawn from our credit card shortly after booking. On the 25th of October, our arrival date, our driver dropped us at the Bridgeway. The staff welcomed us, carried all our luggage into the hotel and waited for our driver to leave - just to tell us then that the Bridgeway was booked out and that they had to take us "to another branch of our hotel" just 200m away, with "the same standard as the Bridgeway". Being very tired and being assured that it was "just another" branch we agreed and were transfered to the hotel "Maria Grant" - to a very tiny room in the backyard where we could hardly move around the bed. After one night at least they transfered us to a bigger room. Talking to the Tourist Information about it and checking on booking.com about the prices of the hotels we later found out that the manager had lied to us. Maria Grant is not a branch of the Bridgeway and the price for a night in a double room is only 35 (not 45) $. So they gained 20 extra $ with us. Mistakes can surely happen. But we think overbooking the place is rather strategy of the management. The very sad thing is that they neither apologized for their mistake nor offered a compensation - they just decided on lying on us. They even had the audacity on offering us additional nights for 160.000 UGX (so again 45 $)! We decided to spend our additional nights in Jinja in the "Paradise of the Nile" then - for less money with far better standard and even a pool.
