It is right up there with the Hyatt in Shanghai and the Pelican in San Juan Del Sur. We tried to extend our stay. Everything - from the gorgeous design and details - to the fantastic service in the restaurant (breakfast is the best we've had anywhere). We booked a king suite and it had expansive water views and gorgeous furnishings. Very smart layout and a delight to stay in. Windows masked any noise so sleep (unlike Robinsons in Sangerime) was amazing. ***Note that this is a bit of a hike from the main road so if you have walking issues, or don't want to take a cab to the old town or marina - this might not be for you. We really liked the exercise and an opportunity to burn off all the Turkish delights and Baclava. There are stairs that short circuit the street walk, but again, you have to have a moderate level of fitness. We will be back. An absolute delight. As per my other reviews - love that they use glass water bottles but would like to see refillable bathroom shampoo and conditioners on the walls - to cut down on plastic waste.

The location is also great being right in the heart of the cultural area with museums and access to great hikes. The manager was incredibly accomodating as we booked late and arrived late. We were made to feel very welcome and the art and decoration on the walls is lovely. it has a homely feel with features such as book swap which is a boon to travellers who have run out of literature. would definitely recommend.

Oldish,dirty building,windows,peeling walls.Our room was soo small we could hardly move!(although it advertised 20sqm rooms) Wifi wasweak,no hot water…Breakfast was quite good though!We booked 2 nights but we left after 1 day!We don’t recommend this place!

We arrived late at night and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Carried our cases to our room and we were so glad of the help as it was up two flights of stairs with no lift. The room was a very good size with one king-size bed and one single bed, perfect for the two of us as it gave us so much space. It was very clean and comfortable with fresh towels provided every day and clean sheets every two days. Daily maid service and the maids were lovely and friendly. Bathroom had a walk in shower, hairdryer and shower and hand wash provided. The room had a small fridge which was handy. Safety deposit boxes were available but kept at reception. The air conditioning was free and worked great. The balcony was very small but it got the sun and had a drying rail for clothes. Breakfast was typical Turkish breakfast but all very fresh. Olives, cheese, bread jam, Turkish sausage and scrambled eggs although my husband asked for fried eggs and they made them each morning for him. Pool area was clean and well maintained with two slides. The only downside of the pool was that all of the sunbeds were under a large canopy in the shade. We therefore didn't use the pool were went to the beach each day. We would have stayed there the odd day if we could have been in the sun and not shaded. We stayed in a standard room but asked for a kettle and they brought one straight away. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The pool area also offered food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The staff and service was superb. We were able to keep our room on as we had a late evening flight back home. They charged us the daily rate. Would definitely recommend this hotel for location, value for money and very friendly staff.

Although this was before the season officially had started and there was a skeleton staff on, Mete and his wife and Kemal could not have made us feel more welcome or done enough for us. I was on first floor in room 102 with a view of the sea, it was spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable beds. Although the pool wasn’t open yet, they were working hard cleaning and regrouting ready for the season and the gardens were still lovely to relax in, with a poolside bar. The location is perfect, literally a one minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops, (and taxi rank and water taxi if you want to go further afield) but far enough away for it to be very quiet for a good night’s sleep. Must also mention Gök & Ay hairdressers just around the corner where I had several great blow dries for pennies! Added bonus for us were the furry friends who lived on the premises (Michu, Peki and Sasha the dogs and the very chatty 3 legged cat) and greeted us every day and joined us for a sunbathe. If you’re after a reasonably priced central hotel, I would highly reccomend.

Great family vacation June-July 2011

We love independent travel, "no tours with operators and all inclusive!". And this boutique, cozy and family (from the word - home and the attitude of the staff as relatives came!) Suited us best for the first post-war trip to the sea! Planned from March and helped us in booking the best room good handsome Bülent (hotel administrator). Upon arrival in Dalaman, we flew from Istanbul late at 11PM - this good friend was waiting for us, helped organize a quick late check-in and even brought goodies from dinner to the room! We had a huge panoramic room on the third floor overlooking the pool. A huge double bed and even an extra separate one for the son were made. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle - everything in the room worked properly; cleaning will always be clean and if necessary. Water was delivered. Towels were changed without restrictions! Meals were taken half board - breakfast + dinner. The attentive chef was always present and watched the dinner. We had a great time - meat and fish and plenty of vegetables! And for the festive dinner for the birthday of our son Timur, he prepared a special dish for us! (Octopus caught by hand!). Go to the sea through the promenade and the road. What you need for health! 100 m from the hotel market - bought goodies or products here on the way to the sea! Special thanks for the warm welcome at the hotel Sevil Mendos and her family. We hugged, saying goodbye before the transfer to the airport. Let's come again! The city and nature and the beaches of Fethiye are a separate fairy tale - the unique aromas and scents of blooming nature and the clear clear water of Calis beach. I want to come back here again and again!

The room was well decorated with plenty clothes storage and a clean small bathroom with shower and also a pleasant surprise for Turkey....free Air-con. Turkish breakfast was the basis of B&B however an omelette can be cooked if asked, coffee,tea on tap. The hotel was immaculate and I would think maybe renovated 2-3 years ago, the pool area and bar was spacious and again immaculate and can accommodate 20 guests as per the rooms available. The staff 10/10 always attentive and polite especially Ercan who was a fantastic front of house host. Bravo Green Peace Hotel and good luck for the rest of the season. The hotel used to be a predominantly a Turkish Hotel and are making such an effort to encourage UK & EU citizens with the English speaking staff. We will stay again at the small budget hotel based half way in Ovacik it really is a gem. Last thing cushions required for beds however they are on the case ....
