It was lovely to stay here, Declan was really nice. COVID meant breakfast in the room which we enjoyed at our leisure. The view was beautiful and it was modern with old touches, very clean and warm. Would go back again.

Irish hospitality at its finest?

On arrival what stood out was the amazing love and care that has been put into this property, the gardens and surrounding view was just picture perfect. We were greeted by Tom who was so lovely even offering us a cup of tea or coffee and giving us recommendations where to for dinner. The room itself was spotless and provided everything that was needed for a comfortable stay.Quality of bed and linen top of the range and provided the perfect nights rest. Breakfast room was a good size with plenty of light and again totally spotless. Breakfast had everything to set you up for your day from cereals, fruit, yogurts, juice tea and coffee but for me it was the cooked full Irish that nailed it. It was the best I’ve had, great produce, freshly cooked and the perfect sunny side up egg?Tom was very present for breakfast ensuring everything was ok and the chats and laughs made us feel more like friends then guests, we even got to see some family photos which was a beautiful touch. When departing we got a hug goodbye from Tom and his wife Joan. We will definitely like to stay again next time we are in this area and Tom and Joan should truly be proud of what they have accomplished. Really if I could give more then a 5 rating I would without hesitation.Well done ?

Excellent B&B, lovely room, tasty breakfast and super hostess.

Stayed here for one night on the way to stay with our Son in Allihies Co. Cork. So happy to have found Copperfield House as it is a great halfway stop. Josephine was a lovely hostess, the room was immaculately clean and the breakfast was superb. A few pints of Guinness at T.Js down the road and a wander around the Rock the next day, it just doesn't get better. Highly recommend.

Ballinacourty House B&B

Home from Home

Reviewed By Mag L

This B&B is beautifully maintained, with the beautiful Mary at the helm, she is an excellent host, with a lovely nature. We had 2 rooms, both were spotless, warm, relaxing and very comfortable. Our breakfast was by far the tastiest full Irish we have ever had, the quality of the food, the fresh orange juice and fresh fruit, a bucket load of toast and all served by Mary with a chat and a laugh. 10/10 for breakfast. We had 2 evening meals in the onsite restaurant, again we enjoyed every bite, the food was beautiful and the girls in the restaurant were friendly, and polite and we felt safe at all times. All members of staff wore masks at all times. Our visit was too short, however, we ate like Kings, walked in the woods beside the house (miles and miles of tracks) and all agreeded a return visit is a must. Thank you Mary for looking after us so well.
