Upon arriving I was greeted by the very friendly receptionist who guided me and my car to the room. This resort is different than a hotel in that you have separate houses throughout the property. Each house has two rooms, upper and lower. My room was an upper one with an expansive deck on a multi tiered water feature. Upon arrival you could hear the sound of frogs, crickets, and water flowing with the smell of flowers fragrant. From the outside the houses were whimsical in design, a lot of thought went into the design inside and out. The woodwork was beautiful mahogany in intricate designs. Upon entering through the double glass sliding doors the entire corner of the room was windows that provided the most beautiful sunrises over the hills and jungles. The bathroom had a two person sunken tub by the window, and an oversized shower. There was a desk, a large counter, and closet. All lights could be controlled from your bedside at night. Each morning I was there I worked and the staff brought me coffee and breakfast at no charge to my room. Upon arrival I also ordered room service for dinner and ate at the restaurant one evening. Every meal was amazing, and very affordable, not like getting room service in the states. A few areas for improvement would be that the internet was shut off each night and not turned on until 6:30am, making it hard to work as well as using a lot of data on my phone when the internet would turn off. A second area of concern was the lack of ease in connecting with the front desk unless you contacted them through Whats App or Instagram. Multiple times I went to the front desk and would not be able to find help, as well as the restaurant. I do understand that due to covid they are very short staffed and the hotel is not full to have everything fully operational. The grounds are wonderful but showing lots of age. I can imagine how beautiful if was when new and how with some work it can be brought back to it’s original glory. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. I appreciated so much the attention to bringing food, and even coming back to wine chilled in the evening. Upon going back to Chiang Rai I would for sure recommend this place as a sanctuary to relax. If you are wanting a place to be able to walk around the city this place is not for you as it is out of town about 15 minutes. It is an easy car drive most places.

A 10-minute walk to the night market, and hidden down a quiet residential alley, you feel like you are entering a secret garden when arriving! The area is very well-cared for, with lovely little garden areas complete with picnic tables in the shade, as well as the covered dining area. The woman in charge here makes a mean breakfast, and has quite the varied menu available - beware that the prices are steep compared to what you might pay outside the guesthouse, but you won't realize the breakfast costs racking up until you check out an pay your bill! It's good food, but you're paying for the convenience. The guesthouse is a little on the older side, and looks a bit like a 1960's motel done up in the colours of a dingy hospital ward. The room are big and airy, but a little too echoey, especially when your neighbors come in late and slam their door. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs. Everything is clean, and furnished very basically, with a bed, side tables, an armoir, a small table and chairs, and a very functional washroom. There is no TV, but good WiFi. If you are looking for good value and quiet, look no further, but definitely shop around when it comes to breakfast!

We had a very warm welcome. we discovered our very large rooms with decor like the palaces are very well equipped, perfect bedding, perfect bathroom the only small problem (not enough electrical outlet. Simple but very good buffet breakfast the next day we took a little lunch on the set is also very good .. Certainly for me one of the best value for money in the villa .. There is not much to do there except to sit around and enjoy the surroundings. Both the famous White Temple and Boon Rawd Farm/Singha Park offer nearby outings. The resort aspires to be a boutique hotel but it feels a bit provisional and partly as a construction site. The rooms are mostly laid out as luxury cabañas with big windows along the riverside. My impression is that the owners have planned and built the hotel by looking at and trying to copy similar places rather than hiring professional architects and hotel designers. The functional side of the rooms/bathrooms have some shortcomings and there are many details that can be improved, including the al fresco buffet breakfast. The decorations are eclectic rather than matching. Having said this, it is still a very comfortable place to stay and seems to be loved by Thai families but I will not stay there again.

Rapport qualité prix très décent, notamment pour les villas 2 chambres (bonne literie, loge 5 personnes) situées devant le bâtiment principal. Petit déjeuner moyen selon les critères occidentaux, mieux si vous déjeunez à la thaïlandaise. Une salle de sport, une piscine et un bar (fermé lors de notre passage) complètent ce petit resort très recommandable.

excellent motel
Reviewed By ray518My Parents came to stay at this motel for 8 days and they loved this place the rooms were clean, the shower was good they enjoye the pool and fitness centre The staff are very welcoming friendly and helpful and also helped me and my wife with things as well for my paents to enjoy a well earned first trip to thailand. They made my family feel very welcome and helped them out would highly recommend this motel and will stay and come again.
