Little did I know that she found out my personal bank details through just my phone number and she processed the payment. She also made up a story to booking.com to entice them to share my banking details with her. BEWARE - SCAM.

Reviewed By HansCoelenEcht een aanrader! Deze B&B bied jou een hele goede service. De kamers zien er allemaal keurig schoon en fris uit. De uitbaters maken hier echt werk van. Het ligt op een steenworp van het strand van Blankenberge midden in het centrum. Het ontbijt is werkelijk fenomenaal. Er zijn diverse soorten broodjes, beleg, koffie en thee. Er staat bij aanvang van het ontbijt al een versgeperste jus’ de orange klaar en een eitje of welke manier bereidt ontbreekt ook niet. Men doet er alles aan om jou met een goed gevulde buik op pad te laten gaan. Een dessert is als kers op de taart altijd de afsluiter van het ontbijt. Hier kom je thuis.

Reviewed By Maarten RCheap uncomfortable place to sleep. NO TOILET ON ROOM. Price is high for just a place to sleep without any comfort for a family of 2 with a kid of 7 years. Maybe 2 students, backpackers or something like that it can be ideal.

Reviewed By kosmariajohannaOur stay at hotel Franky was delightful. We stayed in a cosy room with all necessities. The room was not luxurious but easy going and perfect for the purpose. The neighbors downstairs, Pizzanini, a superbe restaurant, treated us on a very italian delicious dinner. The beach is really at a 3 minutes walk. Inwould highly recommend this hotel when you look for a superbe location and beachy atmoshpere.

A lovely hide-away
Reviewed By peterm948We rolled this booking over from Covid lockdown but were pleased we persisted as it's a beautiful building, handily located and the Garden View Room was perfectly appointed. The garden itself, which is available to guests, was also very pleasant in the afternoon sunshine. Our host was attentive throughout the stay and the breakfasts were fulsome, fresh and varied with eggs made to order. There's a communal fridge on the first floor landing to chill your wine while you're out for the day. Blankenberge is a nice resort but was only just beginning to open for the season - we'd have liked to have seen it in July or August when more restaurants were open and the sea was warmer! If we ever go back, we'd certainly stay at Villa d'Hondt.

The hotel is not very special, but it is not bad either. It is an average price and you get what you pay for. Sometimes you can get a free night depending on when you reserve.

Booked bedroom for two when arrived owner of hotel charged extra for room saying that the room was booked for one person when two names were showing on the booking form, she was not polite and very argumentative. Wifi never worked worse place I ever been

Reviewed By 74DennisThe ladies at the reception were great. Our room 28 was redecorated and the basics were fine and our room was clean. The next 20% which needs to be done for a perfect stay: add a toiletpaper holder, replace showercurtain with a glass door, re-install water tap, disconnect heater in bathroom which starts with lightswitch (it already was warm), at night we had a dilemma: we could open the window but because of the noisy street it was difficult to sleep, or close the window and have a warm roomtemperature, there was no airconditioning. And some closetdoor handles needed a fix. Fornunately the drain stench in the bathroom at arrival was gone after two days.
