Beautiful house ran by beautiful people, landscape of the house is impeccably maintained and the standard of the furnishings and decor of the rooms and spaces are to an incredibly high standard, tasteful, modern and spotlessly clean. Do not be disheartened by the immediate vicinity or Battipaglia itself. It isn't attractive certainly, however once within the gates of Radici 24 you could be anywhere in the world, it feels like a 5* complex. The breakfast is perfect and the coffee good. Children had everything they could have wanted. They were treated with respect and we felt comfortable as parents. Our two story room was more lovely than expected despite the complimentary photos of it online. The beds were very comfortable. Mini bar very reasonably priced and appreciated. The pool! What a beautiful, warm, clean and spacious pool - most definitely the highlight of the stay. Loads of space to swim, to sit and relax and seek shade or the sun. Lovely soft floor to the pool too and cleaned diligently every day. Stay here to explore the Amalfi Coast if you don't mind 45 mins-1hr drive everyday. We liked the drive and appreciated staying away from all the noise of coastal streets at night (they don't stop). The cost of staying here is far more reasonable and you'll never get so much pool all to yourself anywhere else! It's so quiet and a really nice contrast after being on the Amalfi all day. We did all of the coastal towns in 4 days from Radici 24!

Reviewed By harribobdecided to stop here as my husband wanted to pay homage to his grandmothers grave. the room is very airy with lovely modern furniture & a quaint little balcony outside with a small table & 2 chairs on which my husband & I ate our breakfast which was ordered on arrival & delivered from a little coffee shop opposite the train station.

Reviewed By 60JudithDecided at the last minute to break off our journey from Sicily to northern Italy and were so lucky that this B&B had one room available. The young couple who run the place are so kind and helpful, we were welcomed with a large home-made pizza, the room was impeccable with cooking facilities and wifi included. A continental breakfast (croissant, cappuccino and coffee) was served in our room free of charge. We were not particularly concerned about location as it was only a stop off but it seemed to be a quiet though quite central zone. All this for the modest price of 50 euros per night for a double room. And most importantly, we were also able to have our dog and our cat with us!

Reviewed By MilaDhaeyereLast year during Easter holiday we’ve stayed for 5 nights at apartment Uva (family with 2 children). We came from a hotel stay in the noisy city of Napoli. What a relief! So beautiful and quiet. Okay, sometimes the donkey will make some noises. But that’s part of the experience. The kitchen in the apartments is well equipped. There’s a small supermarket nearby and also a bakery (so many delicious things to choose from and very cheap). But if you don’t want to cook, you can always enjoy local dishes in the restaurant. Only negative thing to say was that the television was on during diner. There’s also a good restaurant in the neigbourhood called Tenuta Marrandino. The staff, in particular Emilia and Bruno were friendly and very helpful. They gave us some extra suggestions for places to visit, like the Cascate Capelli di Venere; a waterfall hidden in the woods; Tenuta Vannulo, a buffalo farm. There’s a shopping mall (Cilento Outlet village) if you drive from Battipaglia to Phaestum. You can visit the archeologic site of Phaestum, Capo Palinuro or one of the quiet beaches. The apartment is spacious, tidy and Uva (like the other appartments I guess) has a small terrace with view on the garden. On our day of arrival there was no hot water in the bathroom, but they fixed it immediately. Outside there’s a pool, football-goal, table-tennis-table for entertainment of the kids. Napoli, Pompeï and the Amalfi Coast-villages are easy to reach but we decided to visit less touristic places.
