Reviewed By chijiokeo307One of the great restaurants (and I’d say guest houses) in Maitama. The decor gives you the feeling that you are in a restaurant in any of the urban European cities. The staff are super friendly and help with the menu which is fairly priced. The food was good though could be better. Wife had a Caesar salad while I had burger and fries and 2 glasses of Long Island. They have in-house live band on saturdays and I hope to be there to see what it’s like. The only downside is the lack of adequate parking space.

Needs urgently a renovation of facilities

However, the facilities need urgently a renovation of the building, furniture and equipment. Very few power outlets. The menu in the restaurant is varied and the plates by order are very good. The hotel offers 3 buffets a day but these are expensive and the quality of the food below the standard of the place based on the quality of the plates I ordered from the menu. There was no iron nor iron board in my room and the safe had no batteries.

Walls too thin?
Reviewed By Kemi OIt's a decent hotel located in Jabi. I had a reservation so check in was smooth. On getting to the room, the floor was still wet from the cleaning and the housekeeper even proceeded to give it another clean while I was there. This made it messy since I had to walk in and around the room. It was clean and smelled good. I don't know or understand why no TV and AC controls were in the room. I had to request for both at some point. Ordered for jollof rice &beef (1,300NGN) from the pool bar and it was easily the worst jollof I had eaten in a while. Also had their fried yam with plain sauce (500NGN) and that tasted good. The hotel was undergoing some constructions/renovations so it was barely quiet. Also the walls are very thin so privacy isn't guaranteed. One of the people at the front desk asked about my stay during check out so I hope they do better!

Good security measures and a good sense of home comfort for a business trip. The rooms are very clean compare to other places I have stayed in Abuja as the room attendants cleans your room regular with bleach, WELL-DONE the HOUSEKEEPERS you are doing a wonderful job keeping the hotel always clean. The only down part of the hotel is the Lift (Elevator) which is tiny, not big enough for more than two people. All the equipment as in the rooms are working and the staffs are ever willing to help with anything you need Overall, I score the hotel 9/10 in time of cleanliness and 8/10 overall services I will definitely return and recommend. Hidden Gem
Reviewed By Marc SThese are a little pricey, but the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. Most are full apartments with kitchens, but what's remarkable is the tile work, decorations, etc - absolutely stunning. Over its first couple of years, it was very difficult to get into - many of the rooms were occupied by long term tenants. Now I understand there is availability, and even limited choices as to room size. There is a restaurant on the premises, although its hours are 9-9, so if you are looking for the traditional hotel that serves a big breakfast ahead of a busy day, this might not be the place. On the other hand, I managed to get in before my day started, and the food was great. Its in a very quiet neighborhood, not too far from a few restaurants and a long-ish walk to a lively night spot. There's no place like a lobby to meet people, although the restaurant is fine for that. The internet is good, the water pressure fine (although the hot water tank is a bit small, so short showers). This would be a destination of choice if I had a need to stay in town for a week or more.

Superb Little Studio Apartment in Wuse 2
Reviewed By johnaU3942CJStayed in Ruby room which is a little studio apartment with a double bed, tv, wardrobe and some basic cooking facilities. Very neatly designed space with comfortable bed and good sized shower with hot water. Room is more than adequate for a solo or couple travelling with good wi-fi, air con and Netflix etc on tv. Property is in Wuse 2 so lots of restaurants, shops etc in the area including some you get a discount from if mention Yellow Door. Biggest plus is the management who can’t do enough for you. I stayed there twice and on first occasion I mentioned it would be nice to have a table to work at. By my next visit, a week later, a folding table was in place with a chair. Will be back and as write this I’m staying at a hotel in another part of Abuja but wishing was at yellow door still.

It is a beautiful and well run property that will provide all that you need for a satisfying stay in Abuja. I like the ambiance of the room, with relaxing music played in the background while you walk to your room. The staff are extremely polite. Nice swimming pool, relaxing bar. Wifi (good speed unlike many other hotels in the city) wherever you go. The drapes totally blacked out the room, which was awesome for sleeping in a bit. The standard is of a 5+ star hotel. The management definitely wants to offer the best experiences for their guests. The super cleanliness of the room and service is great. Nice soft pillows and bedding. Firm and comfy mattress. How many hotels here do you find bathroom scales provided. Why pay exorbitant price to the big names when you can get the same service here. Why can't all the hotels be like this! I booked through Jumia so got a good discount deal. The Manager was very happy to make sure my booking is confirmed. I can't thank enough and would (jealously) recommend this stay to anyone.

I stayed in the Maitama room and I absolutely loved it, the decor of the apartment is awesome, all my visitors lovedit too. I will definitely be back.

Reviewed By promise ei recently stayed at serendib hotels located at ademola adetukubo crescent were the best night life take place also easy access to shopping malls close by. i enjoyed my stay at the hotel , were i was serve exotic and delicious asian foods well trained and friendly staff, good internet services and most of all very affordable rooms. i would definitely say i enjoyed my stay and also recommend the hotel to my friends visiting Abuja. its really a home away from home.
