Reviewed By caliaimsterStayed here for three days this summer. Booked online and had no hassles with checking in. Friendly and efficient staff. There is a bar, basic continental breakfast, WiFi was good, and air conditioning was excellent. Comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. I will stay again when traveling through Lagos. Close to the airport in a quiet neighborhood.

Reviewed By Cosmopolitan812599Eaten there a few times, no regrets, I love the bar (upstairs) chilled and relaxing with fresh air, while I love the music, I mean it’s always in tune, I see the men enjoying football showing on tv. I love the french fries and barbecue fish, I always request for chilli sauce even when it’s not on the menu, they gladly serve it.

Welcome to Diplomat Hotel. It is situated in the heart of G.R.A. Ikeja, Lagos State. Free WiFi is available. Each room is fully air conditioned, designed with an en-suite bathroom, fitted with a wardrobe, fridge and a flat screen TV with satellite service. The onsite restaurant and bar offers a variety of delicacies and cocktails. Breakfast is served at a fee and the guests can also unwind at the lounge. The hotel has meeting/banquet facilities. Reviewed By saxxin-'Came back after nearly two years. No positive changes yet. Parking is still very tight with patrons having to be disturbed to move out cars for others, often at odd hours. Entrance door handle that pulled off then is yet to be fixed! Touted free Wifi was weak or non-existent in my room. Rooms are large enough but wear and tear is quite visible. Meals are not interesting while noise/traffic from the road can be upsetting. needs upgrade...

POOR SERVICE AND INCOMPETENT HOTEL STAFF
Reviewed By dotund2021I stayed at the hotel for some 5 - 8 nights and found it quite an unpleasant experience. This was at the Agidingbi branch or area (Celestial Church Street). The water in the shower ran out on 2 occasions. The phone call to the reception to complain was utterly useless! The reception took a long time in dealing with my problem until I had to come down to the reception with soap all over me! The food from the restaurant is over priced and very poor quality. The general staff are very incompetent and not very useful or helpful. The contact number for complaints posted inside the hotel lift is Fake and not functional.

Reviewed By treazeWish I could uproot it to change its geographical placement. It's an amazing nicely tacked hotel with exquisite suites. The decor is amazing, it's at a close en once you get in there, your experience starts looking, sounding en smelling beautiful. They got good food too en even tho no pool, you'll love the peace.

Reviewed By tinsumiwanFor 3 months I stayed with them the service is zero! The staffs are ill mannered! I ordered food and I have some change the F&B staff did not give me any change. Their staff broke the glass center table in my room, until today 28th Sept 2019 they can not give me another table. It's been two weeks no reaction from the management! I personally talk to the management but they keep pomising to put table in my room! Not a good place to stay! It is waste of money!!!

Reviewed By mzmatt10I went to Lagos Travel in in October 2018. I am from Phoenix Arizona. I thought the staff was so nice and polite. I had no problems my every request was taken care of. I was very limited in what I was able to eat because the food was spicey but that was a me issue not the hotels fault. My fiancé who is Nigerian put in special request for something to e prepared and it was and I was able to enjoy it. No the hotel was not 100% perfect but the outages very few staff issues that I had could of happen anywhere and does not darken my opinion on how I feel. I can say that I loved it so much I will be going back there this September with my family and I am looking forward to staying there It was near everywhere I wanted to go and to the airport

Reviewed By saxxin-This facility is tucked away in a residential area and not easy to locate. It shares premises with another hotel apparently under same management. The reception is quite small ditto the bar/dining and the double room. The parking lot is equally small and can only accommodate a few vehicles. The ambiance was not okay as I kept hearing the chatter of the staff near my ground-floor room. The buffet breakfast was rather spartan and not warm up. Coming from the airport is not far and that ranks amongst its few pluses. Less than average.
